My partner and i stayed in hillside 4,
When coming into the cove we was completely stocked to how absolutely beautiful it is! The cove is the nicest place we have ever stayed in.
Our room overviewed the ocean and was the perfect romantic getaway !.
Everything about the cove was spectacular, from the kitchen, dining areas, bathrooms and areas just to chill in.
We got to meet new people and honestly couldn't fault it ! The staff are so nice friendly and helpful.
We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary at the cove it felt more like a honeymoon 💓 best place ever !

Wow oh wow! Spectacular location, small group penguin viewing platform, and coastal walks all on the same property. We stayed in a well equipped luxury hillside cabin, although it didn't have its own bathroom (we knew this) the communal bathrooms are 5 star. This was a real highlight of our trip and we can highly recommend The Cove.

Just WOW.
We expected: A secluded getaway with amenities.
What we got: A private retreat with all Essential items you need to make a Christmas lunch and dinner, while having enough activies to entertain you from beautiful sunrise to sunset.
Yes you can see both from any accommodation you pick.

This place is incredible! Will definitely stay here again. The communal kitchen is amazing, so well stocked and plenty of fridge space. Love the 900mm ovens, a great way to save some money while on holiday by cooking dinners here, or the ability to cook on the BBQ’s. We also enjoyed the communal bar with the honesty system, this just made it a breeze. The lounge areas are super comfortable and welcoming. The whole place was so luxurious and relaxing!!!

The staff are all super lovely and welcoming, they have excellent knowledge of the local area and the little penguins that come home every night on the site is an added bonus, no need to battle crowds to see them. The walk was nice and short as well, which is perfect later at night.

We booked the Cheviot A frame with toilet, the room was spacious and comfortable, the communal showers were surprisingly nice and super clean, the water pressure and temperature were bang on as well. I just envisioned a camping shower for some reason… so I was very pleased with these showers.

I have already told others about this place, and when I am back in Tassie, my partner and I will definitely stay here again. Thanks again!

Stunning, literally. What an amazing setting. For the first hour, we could only sit on our porch and stare. Then we started to explore. Such attention to detail. Every need seemed to be thought of. In some rooms, but not all, you must walk a short way to the shared toilet/shower, but this was not a problem for us. The shower room was gorgeous. There was a huge, well-appointed kitchen, beautiful indoor and outdoor dining areas. Interior design was on point. Fire pits overlooking the cove, as well as at the end of short hikes. Beach access (no sand, but lovely smooth stones). Glamping at its best, with authentic Aussie laid-back hospitality.

We stayed at Villa Two.Five.Six. for just one night and had a wonderful time. The view was to die for and the villa was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including a campfire, a BBQ and a bath with the most stunning sea view. It felt like a true VIP experience topped up by great staff that were keen to accommodate all our needs. Highly recommend The Cove.

Nourishing food for the soul. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hillside & beautiful shared bathroom, fantastic kitchen, quiet & relaxed, just what was needed. Kym & all the team so helpful & kind. Take your wine down to viewing decks with fire pits & red torches provided to watch penguins at night. We had booked one night, had to stay longer! The hot stone massage delightful. Highly recommend. Will be back soon.

The Cove was up there with one of the highlights of our honeymoon, it is such a cool place to stay! We felt so refreshed after leaving.
When we arrived we went for a walk and seen some penguins along the beach!
Late afternoon came and we relaxed by the ocean on one of the many seating areas available, watching whales while eating our cheese platter, playing board games and having a wine. The staff then lit the fire and we sat around that while watching the sunset!
The next morning we cooked our breakfast hamper on the barbecue and sat outside to eat it, much to our delight to see more whales!
The communal bathrooms were very clean and spacious, friendly helpful staff and very clean spacious rooms.

It is truely one a kind, fantastic relaxing space and will be recommending this to everyone staying in the area.

The Cove is a must stay, when looking for a break away from your busy life, you can completely relax and unwind, the staff are all amazing and make you feel like family, definitely 5 star in all aspects, this will be one of your best locations to stay whilst in Tasmania. The scenery, wildlife, penguins & peacocks are all part of this special place, cannot wait until my next stay, A big thank you to Kim, Bruce & staff. Sue & Marty H. Qld.

Spectacular location. Kim and crew were so accommodating. Everything was magical - from the cliffside rooms, to the coastal and hinterland views, to the luxurious common areas, to the penguin action at nighttime, to the moon shimmering on the ocean. The whole experience was extraordinary to say the least.

Amazing location, staff, and value. Would recommend staying atleast 2 days. You get to experience penguins and other Australian wildlife in front of your room. The place provides all the things that matter even to the smallest detail. I would recommend hiring the ebikes if you've got time!

An incredibly well appointed well run establishment. Absolutely everything is provided. The self catering kitchen is huge with every cooking utensil & appliance possible. Top class fixtures & fittings as well as staff. Hospitality at its best. Peaceful, a ‘no kids’ resort😃

Wow Wow Wow what an amazing place to stay. The Cove is a hidden gem! The photos on the Cove Website do not do the place justice. You have to stay to understand what I mean, a truly beautiful place. I could rave on about how beautiful the place is but a factor that stood out for me was, they have got the little things right! (Example I wish I had binoculars, guess what they had them in a draw in the villa) The whole Cove Team were outstanding! It goes to show that the management team put a high value on staff wellbeing as they were ALL so friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the history of the Cove and local area.
I left my city mindset behind and embraced the peace and tranquility. Massages, walks and just sitting and looking out to the views and getting lost in the world 😀 All a the one place.
Plus the wife and I saw wild fairy penguins at the Cove.

Amazing location. Everything is of a very high standard. Great views. Very friendly staff. We used the shared kitchen to cook Christmas lunch and it had everything you could possibly want. Put this place on your bucket list!

Another amazing experience at the Cove. Went for a yoga retreat. The location is amazing, stunning views out to the bass Strait. So grounding and calming. Will be back again.

Absolutely amazing experience. Kim and Bruce are the most incredible and caring hosts. The Cove is nothing short of a perfect stay and a must do if you're in the area. I cannot recommend this location enough.

Beautifully appointed, superb vista. Great wedding ceremony or "couple's escape" venue. Amazing courtyard...with large stone bath! and BBQ. This may get only in evening, being on the SE side of the accommodation.
A little gem.

We underestimated how stunning this accommodation is and we wished we booked longer!!! A very special experience and all finishing touches are 5 star - making the stay very comfortable and unforgettable. The owners and Staff are amazing, engaging and very welcoming.
We are visiting from North Qld and already planning to return to stay longer in the future.

Amazing views, beautiful country, incredible rooms and facilities, generous and wonderful hosts. This is a place you have to stay. From the moment you arrive to when you leave the whole team is friendly and generous. The attention to detail at the entire venue is second to none. Complimentary pumpkin soup for dinner if you choose, fully stocked drinks fridge, mint and caramel slices that you can have with your coffee, the warm blankets set around the fire pit area to use, they have genuinely thought of everything. On top of all that, you can wander around the farm and see the animals or take in the incredible views from the different vantage points. But, without doubt the most amazing experience is being able to wander down to the rocks at night and watch the penguins come in. Thank you so much for making The Cove available.
