Need to give 5 stars. A Lovely young lady (with purple hair) politely said she was still learning to make Cappachino, well it was perfect temperature and strength, well done! Had a sausage roll that was the best I’ve ever had and a nice lamington, I’d reccomend stopping here. It’s been a family favourite for years.

On 6 April 2024 I took an Irish traveller to visit the little Thorpdale Bakery, promising that they would be able to order the world's best pies and cakes. The Irish traveller was not disappointed and she said the vegetarian pie and the custard filled bun she enjoyed were the best she'd ever eaten, anywhere in the world. I agreed, because my pepper steak meat pie and custard filled bun were just fabulously delicious. Service was fabulous too.

Bakery heaven. Awesome mix of usual bakery suspects done very well, combined with products like Ciabatta & ganache filled tarts. Warm, cosy atmosphere. Hard to drive past :-)

What a little gem! Got an array of savoury and sweet items and enjoyed everything. The chicken kiev sausage roll was incredible (I'll dream of it) and the bee sting cake delicious!!! Will definitely be back if even remotely in the area again 😀

This place is a national treasure, the staff are warm and welcoming, well presented and give service with a natural warmth and smile. The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee was very good. Well done, team.

Love calling in to this bakery. And hotcroos buns are to travel long way for but need to book them

One of the best bakeries in Victoria. Delicious pies, pastries and breàds. Try the pepper steak pie, and for something sweet.. the cream bun.

Best vegan pie I've ever had. Filling and healthy and delicious; pumpkin, lentils, spinach, zucchini with crumbly fresh pastry. Around $6 and very worth it

Had afternoon tea here & was surprised at the big range of cakes & slices available. I had an Apple Turnover which was perfect and coffee that was very good, but could have been a touch hotter. All in all, a lovely experience and I will be back, will just order my coffee extra hot next time.

Friendly service, delicious food. I highly recommend it. We were there on a cold damp day but it was warm and welcoming inside. This place also contains the local post office. There are 1/2 dozen steps to the front door.

If you’re looking for a great pie or sausage roll this place is well worth a visit. We were just passing through but won’t hesitate to just drive there for the bakery from now on! The Chicken Kiev Sausage Roll is worth the drive on its own, but the Lamb, Rosemary and Garlic Pie, Beef Curry Pie and Spinach and Ricotta Sausage Rolls were also next level. Absolutely recommend Thorpy Bakery to all.

Some of the best baked goods you will ever find ..bread, cakes , pies and sausage rolls are absolutely delicious...A locally owned and operated bakery ....man can these guys bake , they are awesome...do yourselves a favor , stop by and get some beautiful hand made products..

The Chicken Kiev Sausage roll is a must-have and also probably one of the best bee stings I've ever had!!
