Merredin Motel

WE stayed in a deluxe room and it was lovely. Very clean and modern with a comfortable bed. Micro wave, toaster, kettle.
Lovely friendly owners and they serve up beautiful meals in the restaurant, can recommend all facilities.

Great little place. Clean modern rooms, great value for money

After staying in over 150 hotels all over the world i am pleased to say this small country motel was better than many if not most 4 + star hotels with international acclaim. The motel is run by a lovely couple and offer a clean, safe, well appointed good location and modern decor.
Things i enjoyed whilst staying here is a spacious room with good comfy warm bed, coffee and tea making facilities along with cutlery, cups, plates etc and a microwave, but most importantly (its the small things that sometimes count the most) complete with carton of "fresh milk" awaiting me in the fridge. After a long drive from Perth nothing is better than a cup of tea or coffee, thank you. Other facilities i was impressed with had been good wifi and a good TV with clear reception. I recommend staying here and i will be booking more accomadation here over the year. Thank you Sandy for offering a lovely motel.

Whata great spot, hidden off the main road this is a great place to eat. Huge Parmie and veggie that were not soggy, thx chief ! I will be back

Loved the stay. Sandy and Steve are fantastic new owners who looked after us throughout our stay. Most of the equipment was brand new and the place was clean and well kept. The big TV, fast WIFi and the commercial level laundry was a treat. Glad we stayed here.

Normally we drive straight through to Perth but we had an early appt & decided to split up the trip. I’m really glad we did. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. The linen was new & clean. Everything has been thought of & it was a perfect spot for an overnighter or even three.

Steve and Sandy are very welcoming and friendly. Meals are beautifully cooked by Steve. Room is clean and tidy with lots of space. All the facilities you need in your room. Walking distance into town. Highly recommended.

Don’t go past this little gem on the Great Eastern Highway. Rooms are spacious, clean and freshly decorated including a lovely local print on the wall. Bed is comfy with new linen and pillows galore. Bathroom is bright and fully equipped with a proper hair dryer!

This motel is absolutely first class. Beds so comfortable, beautiful bedding and towels. Small kitchenette that is very well stocked. Gumtree restaurant had lovely food and owners are delightful. Highly recommend this place over any others nearby. Quiet and cosy.

Definitely one of the better motels in the wheatbelt. Nicely decorated, very clean, good quality Manchester and towels. Very quiet, located next to the railway it not an issue. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again

Lovely motel with wonderful, friendly staff. Comfortable, clean rooms with beautiful fresh linen, had the best sleep!
Thoroughly enjoyed our lasagne with yummy salads from the salad bar.
Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

My first stay here and I was very impressed. From my first interaction with the staff to the last, they were wonderful.
The rooms are fresh and clean with the feel of a luxury hotel.
I had the surf and turf for dinner and it was 'spot on'.

A mate and I stayed here on a motorcycle trip. It’s a traditional style Motel with parking directly outside your room, which I prefer. The place was renovated, very clean and reasonably priced. The owners are super friendly and accommodating, to the point where they were about to close the restaurant for the evening, but kept it open to make us dinner. The chicken parmi and vegies was very nice and you could tell it was freshly made. Generous servings. Highly recommend this to anyone staying in Merredin.

Great rooms, professional service.

I stayed for one night and right from the beginning you felt very welcome. The rooms were extremely clean. The food was amazing. Definitely a great place to stay.

A great little motel with very comfortable rooms refurbished in early 2021 - rare for Merredin! On top of that, some of the best food you can get in the Wheatbelt. I will be back for sure.
You just have to hope there aren't too many eastbound trains through the night as the whistle board for the crossing is right outside.

We go to Merredin once a month and stay here every time. Great food at the restaurant, staff are awesome and the rooms are very clean. Would highly recommed this place to anyone travelling through Merredin

Pulled in for the night whilst traveling. Provided great accomodation and wifi for the night. Which left us feeling fresh and ready for the long journey ahead.
