The service was excellent and very helpful.
My meal came out quickly and it was very tasty.
I’ll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu as all the food that came out of the kitchen looked awesome. Especially the chicken curry (my next choice).

Monday Night Dinner,

Ordered the Pork Belly Main, was perfectly cooked, big portion, and delicious. Quick Service during the peak rush, the staff did a great job.

Lovely Xmas lunch today with a large family group.
Couple of glitches but it couldn't take away from the great food and atmosphere
Was very impressed with the what was on offer for the price of the lunch.

Good food, piping hot and freshly made. Lovely ambience to the place, some antiques, wood tables. There is an outside area with tall tables, it is lovely for summer evenings.

Came in for dinner for an overnight work stay. Ordered my tea a couple of mins before the kitchen opened. My chicken schnitty and chips came out in less than 10 mins, ripping hot, direct from the fryer. Everything was super crispy and was the freshest schnitty I've had in a long while. Staff were super friendly, my plate got cleared within 2 mins, and they reprinted the receipt that I forgot to get when I paid for tea. Legends.

I was gob smacked at the time from order to delivery. The serving was huge. It was well presented and tasty. Compliments to the chef.
I had coconut coated snapper. Value +
It came with a Thai salad.
The bar staff were fast and friendly. The waiter was always in motion either delivering or clearing/cleaning.
It was good to see the bar staff drying and polishing eating utensils after being washed.
No one was idle.

The dining rooms have vintage furniture where as outside, the beer garden is modern.

I had a meal there it was a big plate very tastie and good value .the service was friendly I was made to feel at home

I found myself in Merredin with a few hours to kill so thought I'd grab a bite to eat. The BEST pub meal I have had in years. The steak was superb and perfectly cooked, generous sized and the service was fantastic. Cannot fault!

Wow, what an impressive place. For a recently opened venue, it has it all. Great, friendly hospitality and an amazing scotch fillet 2 nights in a row. The place has a great vibe with the feel of the local where the community go to be a community. Even as a visitor I felt at home.

Myself, husband and two very close friends shared a meal at the Commi. Yes we waited for a bit for our meal, but it was a very busy night - which is great for a country town. Two mixed grills, a perfectly cooked steak and Garlic Prawns. OMG - amazing. As Molly would say "Do Yourself a Favour - have dinner here"

Have had a couple of meals last week at the commi with my family and would just like to say both times were fantastic and very tasty. Was also relaxing as our 6year old was able to move around freely and in a safe environment which made the outing a whole lot better.

Ordered mixed grill and wife ordered the carbonara . I felt sorry that I was unable to eat everything on our plates! Generous is an understatement. Tasted great. Thanks to all that contributed to our meal.

What an awesome pub! We were passing through and came across this buzzing place. The staff, service, drinks and food was fantastic. We heard that they had just opened after 2 years closed and now under new ownership.
Highlight recommend visiting if you’re in the area or just passing through.

Three nights running and not one issue, food was superb and the service excellent. Great selection of wines. Keep it up.

Had one of the best dine in experiences. They let me order my dine in meal in advance so we were served at just the time of our reservation. The meals were heaven on earth.

The Commercial Hotel or “The Commie” has been revamped and is looking spiffy! Many rooms to dine in including outside garden area and counter. Lunches are under $15 and a decent sized meal. Food hot and prompt. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

March 23 Update.
New management and wonderfully restored building. Meal was brilliant, meals were reasonably quick and well priced. I had the salmon which was very nicely presented and treated great too. Wasn't too fussed with the potato cake but there was plenty to chide from on the plate. Will be back.

Really nice, renovated old style pub with several separated rooms/areas.
With very good food.
