Railway Hotel

Stayed here on our way to Melbourne. Mo and his family are great hosts. Good Aussie pub! Great beds and comfy rooms. A beautiful old building in a lovely country town. Highly recommended. We stayed on the way back as well!

I would highly recommend the Railway Hotel. Its an old pub so don't expect any flashy mod-cons, but the rooms are comfortable, the beds are nice and soft as are the pillows. I can honestly say I slept just as good as if I were in my own bed.
The water pressure in the showers is great, and the hot water is nice and hot.
The owners are two of the most friendliest people you could ever meet.
It's a pity they didn't have the kitchen in while we stayed there over Easter, but I've been told that it's coming.
Next time I'm travelling through that part of the country, I would definitely be staying there again.

We always call in for a drink and a meal in this lovely old pub. Kitchen is being renovated so should be even better in the future. Main street is getting a refresh too. Hope the old-world character survives!

A well poured Reschs in a cold glass at a good price so ticks all the boxes for me. I should note that the service is friendly. Stop and enjoy.

Basic rooms but the hosts service was fantastic. Highly recommend for a pub style accommodation and friendly staff.

The quintessential country pub. The other three pubs in town were dead, but the Railway Hotel was pumping. Go there and see for yourself the reason why. The best pub in Grenfell.
