BIG4 Manning Point Holiday Park

Absolutely blown away with service of staff at this park! Ian is amazing we had 10 families all turn up at once without a booking after a debacle at another park, despite being on his own and having to create bookings for each of us he was super kind and efficient definitely a customer service superstar!
During our stay we had a storm and I had left my bathroom window open while we went out and all my towels were soaked, the lovely lady on reception sorted us some fresh towels and toilet paper without question.
The kids enjoyed the pool and walks along the beach, the camp kitchen was great only recommendation would be to get a TV to watch the footy, playground kept kids entertained however they missed the jumping pillow this year.

I loved this place. We went when it was not holidays so it was very peaceful. Holidays are often booked out so get your bookings in time. We got the Spa cabin which was really nice. They even supplied a porta-cot for our grandson. The rooms had towels, shampoo/ conditioner & soap. Kitchen is stocked with plates etc & some cooking pots etc. Kettle/ toaster supplied.
Has a lovely walking path to the beach where people have added painted rocks along the path. We added ours too. The beach is not for swimming but still lovely to walk along. The people that live there are friendly. Short walk to the Bowling club. Fishing is close by. Shopping can be done at Old Bar or Taree. Must try the food at The Tav which is not far away. We are going back soon for a week.

We recently spent 2 weeks in Manning Point the first week was in another caravan park where the amenities were not good at all so for the second week we moved to the Ocean Shores park where the staff were excellent the park is quite old but in the time we were there there was a lot of clean up happening and we could see improvement in a week the amenities in this park were spotless the location is great with river a short walk away and beach frontage the rates are very reasonable and the staff could not be more helpful we are looking forward to our next visit to Ocean Shores Manning Point.

Spacious little 2 bedroom cabin with all the amenities was better than i expected. 2 large swimming pools, jumping pillow and playground were an absolute hit with my 8 year old. Staff were friendly and welcoming. And the location was beautiful, sandwiched in-between river and coast!

I messed up my dates somehow when booking and the owner was lovely when I had left a jumbled message, sorted everything out quickly.
When we arrived the power was out, the owners were so apologetic! Came on after only 20 minutes or so. No dramas. Wifi was a bit patchy throughout stay, as to be expected in a regional/remote area
Great pool, with bridges that the kids loved swimming under, the unit was lovely. The kids enjoyed feeding the lorikeets 🦜 every morning, they even landed on their heads! The caravan park has cut through tracks to the surf beach and the bowls club which has a chinese food menu very casual eating area.
Overall nice relaxing stay

What a fabulous holiday park…. Amenities all clean,
Games room, camp kitchen, bbq areas all fantastic, plenty of seating around the areas.
The pool was unbelievable. Thank you so much for an enjoyable weekend away

Sadly this location has a rather rough road leading into Manning point, obviously flooding has caused this problem. That aside, a great location for fishing, beach and river, or for us seniors a great place to relax. Shopping sees old bar and Taree within 30 to 40 mins away. Would we stay there again, definately.

We stayed on a powered van site. Amenities were clean and functional. Location is excellent. Short distance to bowls club, beach and river. 20mins from Old Bar fir shops etc. Lovely quiet location.

Great place. Friendly staff and amenities were very clean. Small roads with a narrow bridge or two to get there from the motorway if towing a large van. Will definitely go back. So nice and staff so helpful and obliging

It is my second time here in 6 months. We all love this camp site, quiet, clean, wonderful facilities in the site, plus sort of private beach and riverside. My kids would like to come even again, third time. The Wi-Fi is the best amongst all previous camp sites we went.

As we were travelling with our pet dog we required a pet friendly cabin. Upon arriving at BIG4 Ocean Shores Holiday Park we found the staff extremely friendly, the cabin was clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us and our dog. The beautiful long surf beach is a short walk over the dune, Don't worry about cooking as 100 meters from our cabin was the side entrance to the local bowling club which offered a variety of food on their menu. I also note the park management staff were wonderful!

Wonderful park to stay and visit. Very clean, relaxing and the hot water was endless, park staff very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the pool spa studio it had enough space for 2 with an extremely comfortable bed.
We will visit again in the summer months

We really enjoyed our stay at the park all staff very friendly & always had a smile on their faces.
It would had been good if the spa in the pool area had a hand rail especially for older travellers.
Caravan sites are a good size
Close to the beach & river,a short drive to Old Bar for supplies & shops,also not too far to Taree
We will return

We love the place , great owners
But the park itself needs a lot of work on the roads , the facilities, the older cabins and I think there are quite a few on site vans that really need to be removed.

Fantastic campground! My friend and I stayed here with our young kids and had an absolutely wonderful time. Camp areas are spacious and shady. Pool is fantastic!
Owners are so friendly and looked after us from the minute we turned up. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it, waking up to the sound of the ocean was amazing. The one and a half cabin wasn’t that new but had everything you need and kept in good conditions with clean sheets and towels and all new cooking tools . Lovely team ,so efficient ,helpful and friendly , pools and playground are great for kids and the beach is so easily accessible! Good for families but also friends trip ! Short drive to Old bar with main shops. Great experience and hopefully coming back again soon!

Stayed with friends and used two powered sites and a cabin and had the best time, walked to the beach and also utilized the opportunity to drive on there after purchasing a permit, the locals in the village where fantastic as well as we went to the club, the general store and the cafe, can’t wait to get back there 10 outta 10

We stayed in an ocean breeze cabin, it was clean and so comfortable. The facilities are great and the pools were well maintained.

The staff were lovely and helpful.

Close to the beach, river and so much to do around the area, fishing, bush walking, swimming and exploring the area.

Right from the moment we turned up everyone from the Staff, permanents and other holiday makers were super friendly and sociable. If you are wanting a relaxing holiday without the hustle and bustle of shops and restaurants this is the perfect place. We enjoyed our little getaway immensely. Definitely will return in the very near future
