Palmyra Bed & Breakfast

Road tripping to Sydney from Brisbane, we booked at the last minute and got a lovely room with private bathroom. The location was beautiful, the hosts friendly and the amenities were just what we needed for a restful night of sleep. Bed was a king and very comfy. Would recommend staying longer to take advantage of the pool and grounds. Well worth the $$$

This bed and breakfast deserves its five stars for its immaculate cleanliness, cozy beds, and welcoming ambiance. With multiple living areas, it's perfect for both large groups and couples. The hosts are exceptionally friendly, making you feel at home. Highly recommend for a comfortable and memorable stay!

What a gem! From first contact to last wave, the family service was friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfy and clean. We loved sitting on the balcony looking out over the gardens. Fresh eggs for breakfast was a treat. The pool was great for an afternoon dip. Local recommendations were great. Added bonus of a few friendly pups topped off a lovely experience. Cannot recommend this place highly enough ❤

This is a nice place for a night's stay. We are driving back to Sydney from Gold Coast so we decide to stay here for the night. The driver got great rest here. The house is very big. The day we lived there was fully booked. But all the guests and the owners are quiet and friendly. We enjoyed the quiet night and had a very good rest. The shared bathroom is very large. The swimming pool is clean and big. I see some kids had a great time there. We had the help-your-self breakfast. The owner prepared milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, toast, some bananas and bacon. We can choose anything we like. Also, this B and B is pet-friendly. It is nice to meet some cute little ones during the journey.

My family loved our stay here. The hosts were warm and inviting, our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The house has multiple large rooms to relax in and a well appointed kitchen. Definitely worth a stay here.

We recently spent the weekend at Palmyra B&B and absolutely loved it. What a great place to stay. Location is very picturesque (especially as the recent rainfall has turned the countryside green) The house has been totally renovated and Maria has done a brilliant job with the antique furniture and tasteful colour schemes. We stayed in the Oak Room which had a well appointed bathroom and a four-poster bed with the most amazing mattress and pillows. All sheets and towels were top quality and everything was very clean. Maria made us and our dog Miss Pickles feel very welcome and we will definitely book Palmyra B&B again next time we are in the area.

This place is so good, such great service and the room we stayed in...soooo good. Get the room with the ensuite, bath tub great and a shower big enough for too. Added bonus is the breakfast 😋, eggs bacon bread onions and everything you need. If your near the area or need a good weekend away stay here it's worth every dollar.

Absolute tranquillity and the best customer service I've ever received. Such an inviting and affordable  place that any person would be happy to visit. Very accommodating towards my puppy that isn't quite experienced in spending the night outside by himself, all attempts were made to ensure our stay was comfortable and worry-free regarding our fur baby. The place itself is stunning as you drive up to the front door, the rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated with beautiful antique furnishings. Even after arriving late into the night we were greeted as though any guest would hope to be treated. Couldn't ask for anything more and we (my partner, puppy, and I) hope to stay here again.

My wife, baby, dog and I stayed here as a stopover to break up our last trip from Sydney to the north coast. Only a small detour from the motorway, Palmyra was pleasantly surprising! Room was spacious, warm and inviting. Guest facilities were generous, host was very welcoming. Overall couldn’t fault, and reasonably priced to boot! Next time we’ll make sure we book a room with an ensuite (with a baby would have just made it easier), but certainly couldn’t fault the b&b. Will return for sure!

I can’t rate high enough. Palmyra is a family owned high quality bed and breakfast for an extremely reasonable price. Everything was excellent, the room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable bed, amazing shower pressure, so close to the highway, tastefully decorated, includes breakfast, the list goes on! Maria the owner was so accommodating and lovely. Will definitely come back next time I’m on my way to Sydney. So so happy I found this place.

Absolutely stunning and beautifully restored period home decorated with fitting antique furniture which could easily fall out of the pages of a home beautiful magazine. The hosts are a very humble and down to earth couple and extended a warm welcome to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our pet jasper (who I admit was exhausted after all his running around) and highly recommend this property for all. As someone mentioned in one of the reviews it is a world class property.

Palmyra Bed & Breakfast exceeds all that you could expect or hope for. I stayed with my son and the dog but am planning to return with my husband. The rooms are exquisite, breakfast set up is the best I've ever experienced and the property is breathtakingly beautiful. All that, with the nicest and most helpful hosts that you could ever ask for. Perfect!! Can't wait to return.

Such an incredible experience for staying at Palmyra B&B. Maria and her partner are very friendly and the best hosts I have seen. Room was super clean and well presented in a vintage style. Downstairs swimming pool can be the best place to chill out especially in the hot summer. Continental breakfast means that you can cook any breakkkky you like. I had my vegmite toast and cereals with berries. Their puppy Leo is very cute and so friendly to guests. We would highly recommend this amazing place to any customers and we will definitely come back.

A wonderful place to stay! We found the B&B by chance on Google Maps on our way back from QLD to Sydney. A beautiful house and grounds, with stunning rooms and amenities. The hosts are very welcoming and cater to every need. Bacon and eggs (that you cook yourself) are provided and was a great way to start the days before driving back to Sydney. Worth the slight detour off the M1and beats a standard motor lodge any day! Highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay! Dog friendly, great food for breakfast, and a lovely view on the deck to enjoy our morning coffee. Our room was very well presented and the beds were so comfy. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be staying here again!

A great home away from home in a lovely manor situated on a property only 5 minutes off the M1 and 10 minutes from Forster. Ideal for weddings and special events, clean amenities and comfortable beds. Will definitely recommend them to anyone travelling to Forster.

My partner surprised me with a weekend away & he chose Palmyra B&B ! I was blown away - it was absolutely beautiful - the owners are so very friendly & we felt like we were staying with family. The rooms are gorgeous & the house & land is just stunning - amazing value - fully self contained share kitchen & a lovely open style house with really lovely furniture. It was the best weekend & I can't wait to go back....2 nights wasn't enough

Great cosy place, super friendly owner; worth every penny and additional plus point is the breakfast(eggs, bread, milk, juice, bacon & variety of cereals) included.
