Tomaree Community Hospital

I cannot rate my experience here high enough. The triage nurse, radiographer and particularly the physio, Pru, were so professional and compassionate. After arriving off a plane from Melbourne early in the morning, they tended to my strain quickly and professionally and sent me on to enjoy my holiday.

I found myself having to visit the Poly Clinic on a Sunday. I was blown away with the the service. From the receptionist to the nursing staff, it was a great experience and a positive outcome.

I took my son to the ED and this hospital has the most lovely nurses and the doctor was so incredible with my son. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

My son and I attended Tomaree Hospital this morning after he fractured his collarbone on Saturday morning. The staff were amazing!! We were seen quickly and his pain was managed very well, they also got his vomiting under control very quickly. We were so very grateful for your care this morning! From the clerical staff to the nurses and then the doctor. You were all so kind and caring. Definitely put me at ease that he was in good hands. Mitchell and I thank you 😊

Last Tues. 28th March my wife was admitted to emergency first thing in the morning. She was very ill. There were complications during the day but the nurses were wonderful .. kind, professional and supportive. They also were discussing best practice possibilities. What a credit to the hospital they and the doctor are. Well done as and thank you all.

I was far away from my family, I was really sick, I went for check up, that was kind of emergency, I was on pain, (chest related) they took imitated action for my check up. The best things is the nurse are very kind, Very polite and they treated me as family member. God bless you all, and thank u all team. 1 of the best hospital experience in my life.❤

Came in today for my son , who was treated immediately and the staff were amazing .

I attended Tomaree Hospital at 8.30am this morning with a very sore right wrist. Was seen immediately by a very pleasant young lady at reception as there was a fire drill on there at this time we were assured we would be seen as soon as it was over. In no time I was seen by the triage nurse who arranged an X-ray which was done immediately. The young doctor saw me (who I must say we are fortunate to have) informed I had broken it & put it in a cast, we were home by 10.30 am. Thank you to all concerned you are wonderful.

I went to the Emergency Department of the hospital today for treatment to a cut finger. The service from the moment I walked in the door right through to the treatment was excellent. The efficiency and friendliness made the visit more pleasant and I was treated very quickly.

I've had several experiences with the Tomaree Hospital and they've all been good. On two occasions the emergency treatment my family has received here has been life saving. Nothing but praise for all the staff, and I have never encountered rudeness. The follow-up treatment at the nearby clinic has also been excellent.

I’m here visiting on holidays and needed to take my son in to get a checkup on something. Service was fantastic, Reception & Triage really nice ladies. Got a doctor named Luke. Super friendly knew his stuff.

It was after hours and we needed some medication. He let us know that no pharmacy’s would be open so he went and made up the medicine himself for us then and there! It was all bulk billed and didn’t cost us $1 (Including the medicine!)

You guys are a great public service and you’re doing a great job! Keep it up!

Husband spent 4 days at Tomaree Community Hospital, with an unknown sudden illness. Cannot speak highly enough of his experience there, it was first class. We are both very grateful for the excellent care given to him & appreciate all of the wonderful staff that cared for him.

Spent three weeks in Tomaree before being admitted to a private rehab hospital. Very grateful for the excellent nursing care in Tomaree. Had the best advice from the physiotherapist, OT and Social Worker. Catering staff were kind and helpful. Very positive experience in a stressful time in my life.

Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful care given to my granddaughter who had broken her arm at the playground on Sunday afternoon.

I took my son to check a rush on his body. Firstly, I was hesitant since many reviews were not so good, but I want to say that the nurse who did the triage and then the doctor at the GP clinic were excellent. I would recommend anyone the hospital over a private GP who can charge from 80$.

Took my 18 month old daughter after dislocating her elbow. Was seen to in under 10 minutes and doctor had diagnosed and fixed it with no fuss. Walked out within the hour. Great service

I was so impressed with the Triage nurse doing the daytime shift in Emergency on the 30th Sept 2020. I was in a bit of discomfort and she was very kind and caring not just to me but all the other patients.Even though she was run off her feet,she took the time to get me something to eat when she noticed I was fading.A real credit to nursing.
