Capel Vale Wines & Cellar Door

Well well well ... On our recent visit to Capel Vale it was fabulously refreshing to find a Winery that has a great range of wines and the server/host has both an extensive knowledge of the wine she was serving us and personality 😀. We tried both reds🍷 and whites🥂 which were very much delicious, and much to our palate as are the bubbles 🫧 🍾. We did phone ahead to see what was on the menu, to be informed that the restaurant as this time was closed, but we where more than welcome to BYO our own little platter so we could sit and enjoy with a glass or 2 whilst we enjoyed the beautiful views of the gardens and vineyard. We will be back on our next trip southbound, but in the mean time we can do a phone order and have our wines of choice delivered 😀 Thank you to Nicole for making our visit very enjoyable and entertaining. My favourite winery! The Shiraz is world class and what a beautiful picturesque winery it is with its stunning gardens. You can now "Make your own Platter" or bring one while the Restaurant is temporarily closed so it's a fantastic option. You won't be disappointed. It's a real gem!

What a beautiful winery to visit. The gardens are striking, and better still, each wine we tasted was world class. I am a new fan of their reds. The cellar door lady, Nicole was so easy going and knowledgeable on each of the wines. A big smile and very warm. We will certainly be buying many more bottles from this south west gem.

A great little hidden gem worth getting off the highway for. Great location with a wonderful restaurant . Huge range of wines from their 4 different wine yards along the south west of WA. Good value wines too.

One of our very best memories from the Margaret River region! Beautiful setting for a very nice and personal wine tasting with the sweet Robin, and the wine maker himself! Thank you for your excellent service and truly delicious wines 🍷🍇 🌟

You will be quackers to miss this intimate gem of a winery, 189 klms south of Perth just outside of Busselton duck down to sample their delightful wines. or Match up a wine or two to accompany a fabulous meal!

Staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was simple yet full of flavour and the wines to match were just what we needed. The desserts were also very well down and although we ordered a souffle which didn't really have the texture of a souffle, it was still delicious with a unique twist.
Beautiful view and spacious enough to bring a pram. Would highly recommend.

Best lunch and wine I had in a very long time. Went for the Shiraz Matching Plate with wine 10/10. My partner had the scallops matching plate which was faultless and our son loved his kids platter. Thanks we will be back!

What a hidden gem! A charming winery tucked out of the way just off the highway opposite Capel, so glad we took a look. The wines are what you would hope for - good variety and real depth with the Chardonnay surprisingly ( we usually fall for a red) winning our nod to have with lunch. The restaurant is bright and inviting with winery and garden views all round. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming which made us feel relaxed and set the scene for the treat ahead. What a clever concept - " Match Plates" so all we had to do was choose between 8 skilfully designed "luncheons" including red and white wine platters , a Gluten free option and a vegetarian platter which was what my partner enjoyed ( myself the Chardonnay platter).
All up a truly delightful experience making us even more keen now to go back and try the others.

We booked ahead & told them we had two ceoliacs coming for lunch and the resultant effort made to make sure these two had some delicious options and could really enjoy their meal was outstanding. The wines paired beautifully with the meals & the staff were friendly, attentive & knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!

Amazing place. Great view. Food was amazing. The chef is very technical and has an amazing menu with wines to much. Will be back again.
