Human Nature Adventure Therapy booked a team building session with Byron Bay Equine Therapy and Psychology for our team of Adventure Therapists and Therapeutic Mentors.
Maxime and Clemmie expertly guided the day to provide us with a range of fun, experiential, reflective activities with the horses and each other.
Feedback from the team was very positive with all reflecting that they felt better connected to each other as colleagues.

Clemmie is amazing and intuitive, and makes you feel instantly at ease. Clemmie’s kind manner, and ability to connect with our 15 year old daughter has been incredibly beneficial to her confidence and understanding of herself, in a nonjudgmental way. She has helped to create an inquisitiveness in our daughter that was not there before, and helped her discover the beauty in nature, and within herself. The connections formed with Clemmie’s equally intuitive herd have been life changing for our daughter.

My experience at BBET was truly magical. From the beautiful Steph with her caring energy and just knowing exactly what to do and say, to the power of the four horses I was fortunate to spend time with to the beauty of the grounds and nature that surrounds the farm. I could have stayed all day and will definitely be back again. It’s a safe space and an experience that is truly unique. Don’t try and understand it, just allow it to be and you will have exactly what you need. Thank you Steph for taking care of me. Can’t wait to come back.

Maxime is such a beautiful therapist, she shows gentle guidance and often explains the strategies she has been working on after a session. The setting is beautiful and I have thoroughly enjoyed bringing my son for his therapy once a fortnight. He always is excited to come and often practices his horse breathing. We are grateful to have been able to come to the sessions held with Maxime. Clemmie is also very passionate about her work and its great to have this locally here in the northern rivers.

I’ve been having Equine Therapy with Maxine for a few months now, and I absolutely love it.

Each week brings new experiences as well as different levels of understanding and connection to the very beautiful horses.

I have discovered improvements in both my emotional self-regulation and my heightened awareness.

These horses are incredible, very powerful, well cared for, much loved, and often radiate a wonderful sense of peace and calm.

With Maxine’s support I feel safe to engage with the horses and doing so helps me grow as a person.

I highly recommend Byron Bay Equine Therapy and Maxine.

Kind Regards.

Clemmie and her horses have had a powerful and life-changing impact on my young daughter’s life. She has been riding / working with Clemmie for the past few years and came to her as an anxious girl who was scared of horses. She has grown not only in her love and knowledge of horses but in her confidence and independence with the herd but also in her wider life.

Time with Clemmie is more than just horse-riding lessons. Clemmie’s teachings are informed by the wisdom of nature, of an intuitive and intimate connection with her horses and a passion that comes from her heart.

Clemmie herself is a gifted horsewoman but also a wonderfully generous mentor and guide. She’s such a warm, knowledgeable and caring teacher and her horses are truly magical. We feel very blessed to have Clemmie and her herd in our life. I do not hesitate to recommend her as a teacher - our life wouldn’t be the same without her.

Clemmie is so incredible at what she does. My son has had really great experiences at Equine with Clemmie and absolutely loves going. He's never had experience with horses before, but it's been the best thing that provides him with some grounding work he can keep within him. Thank you for all that you do Clemmie!

Clemmie is the most caring, nurturing and beautiful woman and so unbelievably incredible at what she does. Her genuine love of what she does shows in every session she has with my 11 year old son. He is so into his equine therapy sessions and we have seen huge improvements in his anxiety and capacity since starting with Clemmie.

Clemmie is extraordinary. She worked with two of my children (both quite different). She brings such a calm, patient presence to her work and is so insightful and thoughtful about her work with them, which is reflected in her session notes. Both my children adored Clemmie and her animals. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Wild Tracks was a positive and calming experience for my daughter. She loved spending time with the horses and learning how to be aware of their behaviour and emotions. Observing, interacting and learning. She especially loved feeding them carrots and simply being up close and gaining their trust.
Set in a private tranquil location, with the beautiful caring support of the wonderful Clemmie, and her family of unique Australian brumbies.

Clemmie has a way of relating to both adults and children that makes you feel comfortable and like you’ve known her for years! Kind, calm and patient, Clemmie accepts children for who they are and works to support them by giving them tools to use in their everyday lives. The horses were of course an added bonus!!

Clemmie is a great teacher and person in general and taking her classes has always been such a pleasure! She's very knowledgeable and shared a lot of valuable tips with me around how to communicate with horses and make them feel comfortable around me.

Such a non imposing way and beautiful setting to engage with life's challenges. Cant recommend the team, horses and setting more highly. Adults and young people alike come away more empowered and resourced.

Clemmie is a wonderful human being who puts all her heart and energy into horses and children. I have witnessed a little girl with lack of self confidence becoming stronger and powerful thanks to Clemmie and her horses! Well done!
