My family and I went here for the first time. It was delightful! A great menu with options for breakfast or lunch. Each meal was delicious, fresh and locally sourced! The coffee is also great. Couldn’t fault the service, very friendly and helpful staff, very attentive. Highly recommend.

Black Drop Cafe in Potsville, first time in for breakfast 😋 and it was 5 star poched eggs perfect 🥰 crispy bacon 🥓 mushrooms 🍄 on sourdough. High quality offering, I will be back full table service good staff and great coffee other cafe operators need to visit the better operators good work 👏

My 10th or so visit at Black drop; super nice staff and consistent great food; a café that takes its ingredients seriously, using top notch suppliers whilst remaining truthful to seasonality. Creative dishes, with a satisfyingly rotating menu. Definitely above the rest along the coast.

Worth the drive from Cabarita to enjoy a great long black on a lighter roast single origin coffee. Today I was delighted by my coffee which was an Ethiopian Kochere single origin. Super clean white peach sweetness shining through. About to enjoy a delicious coeliac-friendly breakfast, in a very pleasant breezy space that makes me feel like I'm on holidays. Very happy right about now.

I got one of the specials and yes! Delicious!!! Great atmosphere, cozy and friendly staffs. I will be back for sure.

What a gem of a place Black Drop is. My wife and I have two lunches there while we where staying in Pottsville. We loved the meals and coffee the first time we had to go back a second time. Staff friendly and polite, Great menu, fresh and tasty meals, yes the food was a little different to the run of the mill cafe but that what makes Black Drop. We will definitely be back next time we are in Pottsville.

What a great little spot! Friendly service, great food and coffee. They were very accommodating to seat a larger group than what the tables were set up for. Food and coffee came out in a timely manner, fresh, good portion size and well presented. They didn’t rush us out the door after the meal, they even offered to move us to another table when the little business next door was about to open (where our table was set up). We went back the next day for take away before we hit the road again and the same great service was received. Thank-you and we will be back!

Nice little cafe offering a small menu but packing a punch full of flavour and quality. Friendly staff with quick service. We ordered the Asian chicken salad that was a special and the mushroom bruschetta. Ohh and a glass of Fiano. So yummy and flavoursome. One of the better meals we have had in the area. Highly recommended. Puppy friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating where pups are welcome in both.

Fantastic coffee and a wonderful menu for all day brunch food. I loved the variety and not just seeing the same eggs and benny options. We had the brisket and the lamb and they were both delicious! Wonderfully kind staff too.

Coffee was good but the food was great! Pork belly with star anise carrot puree was sensational and the crab omelette was very delicate with fine flavours.

A must try if you are visiting Pottsville Beach...Food is fabulous, coffee..to die for..& very friendly staff. I don't give a 5 star easily..but this cafe, & the owners James & Emily deserve it..Big thumbs up.

Oh, let me tell you about the incredible experience my family and I had at Black Drop Cafe! Not only was the food absolutely mouthwatering, but my child couldn't stop raving about it either. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each one bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether it was the fluffy waffles, drizzled with maple syrup every bite was a delightful surprise. Black Drop Cafe truly is the best place on the coast, where great food and a friendly vibe come together to create an unforgettable dining experience.
