Had lunch here twice recently. Book early for a window seat. Great view across Bancroft Bay. Relaxing ambience. Good service for both food and drinks. Ordered salt and pepper calamari both visits. Generous serve of well prepared food. Reasonable prices.

Had to check it out again for the second time this week.
Nothing has changed.
Great service.
Cold Beer.
Excellent food.
Relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely fabulous location. There is nothing like enjoying waterfront views while having a cheeky drink. A real hidden gem. Not often you see flounder on a menu and it didn’t fail to impress. A great pub in a great location. A great day out.

Great location with excellent food. Eventhough we waited almost an hour before we were served, we were vs very satisfied and happy with the food. The crispy pork belly was amazing and the pan fried while flounder was tasty. Bookings are a must and be early. Amazing views from the restaurant.

Good food right at the water, where you can park your boat and enjoy a meal or drink. The meals are very very good and the facilities are modern.

Delightful little hotel. Beautiful outlook over Bancroft Bay. Stunning views. You won't be hungry here. Staff are friendly. Seating is spacious.

I booked a table online requesting a nice spot as it was our Anniversary..
On arrival we were shown to what I believe was about the best table for two available..
Service was fantastic, even though you had to stand in line to order it was quick & friendly.
We both ordered the Seafood plate for 1 & it was superb..

The hotel is right on the waterfront & view from our table was magnificent..

It was our 1st time there but definitely will be returning..

Beyond pub quality food and a great setting on the water. It can be busy during holiday periods (recommend booking) but definitely worth the wait.

Great menu selection. Outdoor setting on the foreshore was perfect for us with the 2 dogs. It was hot humid day - shade cover was helpful.

We’ve eaten there twice this week and not been disappointed. The fish, steak, seafood platter and oysters Kilpatrick have been absolutely delicious. They even refunded the cost of the meal for a diner at the table next to us, because his meal was very slow in being served and his fellow diners had already eaten. The views speak for themselves and can be enjoyed indoors or out in the very spacious beer garden.

Had a couple of great eves over this sneaky long weekend. Clearly a great location, and full of people jus having a good time - a perfect country pub by the water.
Staff and service always make the deal - well done to your team.
Food was great - a tiny bit limited, but that happens in a country restaurant when they get unexpectedly busy. The presentation and taste was completely on point.

Beautiful view, quick service on the drinks. You will have to get your food yourself if you are sitting outside on the deck. All the food were flavorful and presented nicely- perfect place to hang out on a beautiful day!

shared the seafood plattter for one with my husband, it was super fresh and probably one of the best i have had, home-made sauces were really tasty and nice to see - view not too shabby either :)

Wow! What a beautiful spot. Enjoyed a lovely drink (or 10), then returned for dinner, very busy, but service was great! Meals were delicious! We'll be back 🙂

Had a recent weekend in Metung and chose the pub for dinner on one of the nights . Unfortunately for us it was a super busy night but the staff kept us up to date on our meals and apologised for the unprecedented wait and offered us nibbles whilst waiting .
When the food did arrive it was seriously good . I had the barramundi and my partner had the prawn spaghetti . Would definitely recommend the venue . The view from the deck over the water was beautiful

We only stopped for coffee, but it was really good coffee, very friendly people, and a fantastic setting overlooking the water.

Popped in for a dinner with family and friends 8 total. Mid week so not too busy.

Standard Aussie menu, went for the tomahawk steak with pepper sauce nice and fiery. Chips were the best we've had so far in Australia.....decent selection of beers on tap went for the Sailors grave.

Food portions very generous garlic bread was huge we ended up order too many sides.

Ordering is done at a counter, service was a bit random with members of our party having to wait a while for food - though after a few weeks in Australia this is now pretty standard.
