Merriwa Motor Inn & Motel

Mum and I arrived late without a booking and Pam was more than accommodating, allowing me to park the car so Mum could exit easily due to mobility issues. As no restaurant delivered and I couldn’t leave Mum, Pam came over with a salad and some biscuits, which we were so very grateful for. We will be staying here on our next trip west - both ways and booking the disability room for sure. Thank you for a very lovely stay, the King bed was excellent.

Great place to stay, nice rooms, great polite staff, good prices.

I could not fault any aspect of my stay at this establishment.
Pam, the hostess, greeted me and showed me around the establishment, pointed me in the right direction for the evening meal and made me very welcomed.
Thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Had the whole family staying and there was plenty of rooms and beds to go around. The town isn't very big so it's walking distance from nearly everything.

Pam is a terrific host and the place is clean and everything is very nicely arranged. I stopped in late in the night with no booking and she helped me to order food from the RSL and I can’t speak highly enough of the place. Most comfortable nights sleep zzz in weeks. Highly appreciate all the work put into the place! Go visit. Cool town too.

This is one of the most perfect country motel style accommodations. From the welcoming smile of the owner on arrival to the meticulous attention to detail, I cannot recommend this accommodation more highly. If you are in the area and need a place to stay - this is it, let ok no further.

I've been here a few times. Pam is always an awesome host. I've seen a couple of bad reviews in here. I reckon if this was my hotel, I wouldn't be pleased with some of the riff-raff people get up to. Stumbling in drunk after a party and making a hell of a racket for other guests would have you thrown out on your ear if this was my show. Consider yourself lucky, because Pam is excellent at what she does! She does it with style and class. Love this little home away from home!

This place was a life saver. Had been driving all day and hadn't been able to find a place to sleep anywhere. I drove into town and there it was! Incredible and kind service. I was so grateful. Amazing building, with fantastic rooms! 10/10 would recommend!

Stayed in the new motel rooms. Big and spacious area with great facilities. They have thought of everything that will make anyone's stay comfortable and enjoyable. Check in was easy and being escorted to your room was a wonderful nice touch that reminds you of what service use to be.

Very clean and very comfortable beds. Happy friendly hosts in Pam and Peter. Well cooked breakfast too. Couldnt want anything else for a short overnight stay.

Stunned, what else can I say. I travel a lot with my work and stay in many of the small towns across Australia. This was something else...

Right from 'full size' queen beds through to balcony views overlooking Merriwa, located in the middle of this country town, making for easy walking to the cafes and restaurants and the local hotel.

The accommodation itself is of a high quality. Simply put, that's not all.

Working, seeing clients all day long; I don't have time for a lunch break so Breakfast is a pretty important meal for me. Breakfast served here is outstanding in quality, quantity and value for money.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would stay anywhere else other than here when working or visiting in the Upper Hunter.

Good job and hope to be staying there again soon!

Awesome little bed and breakfast to stop at. Pam and Peter do an excellent job keeping the place beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious and affordable. Definitely will be back in the future.

This was the nicest cleanest place to stay at the people were lovely and the accomodation couldn't get any better. I felt like I was at home. The only problem was that I couldn't stay longer.

The motel section out the back was great! All new.. good stop over if your heading west with a pub across the road that does take aways!

The place is great. Built in 1877 and simply a great b & b. But by far Pam makes this a fabulous place to stay.
