Always a great feed here at Tumbulgum Tavern.
Staff are happy and friendly.
I've been here many times and always the best, whether I'm solo or I'm leading 50 plus other motorcyclists.
I usually have the Parmi, but others have said that their meals were very good too.
The views along the river are delightful, including the ride in and out of Tumbulgum.

Love it. It's been a while since we've been down from Brisbane, but we will definitely b back. Family friendly, playground for kids, you can even buy activity booklet for kids, awesome. Food awesome, service great, location picturesque, atmosphere very welcoming. 10/10, see you soon.

We booked a table for 12pm. But got there 11:20am. Before the crowds came . We ordered our meals and drinks early. By 12pm they were so busy. The tip is to get there early so not queuing up to order. The staff were great and friendly. The place was very clean . Great spot just across from the river.

Great historic pub on the Tweed River at Tumbulgum. Delicious pies (not on menu but behind the bar). Good choice of food. Wonderful location.

Wonderful riverside pub with great outdoor dining and excellent dining! Be sure to book on busy times! Staff were friendly and welcoming especially when you don’t know how to pronounce tumbulgum!!

Awesome pub on the river. The staff are always so lovely, the beers are great and the locals are so friendly. The food is well priced and always yummy. They have great food specials too so always a variety. My only negative is that I've been saying Tumbulgum (Tumble-gum isnt right??) wrong and I prefer my pronunciation 😂 love this place!

Have been in Tumbulgum since Wednesday (leaving on Monday) came to the Tavern for lunch & dinner, service great, food excellent & staff very friendly, definitely a place to stop when in the area

It was a lovely experience, just to have coffee in this place and look out to the beauty of a serene lake.

I heard amazing things about the bistro so we decided to drop in yesterday and those rumours are true. I tried the Barramundi with sweet potato fries and mango salad. The barramundi was cooked to perfection and the sides complimented the meal.
My son thoroughly enjoyed the Southern cajun chicken burger and our relatives highly praised their steak and asian poached chicken salad meals. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice big garden, kids play area, lots of seating. Food was great. Good portions. Good service. Great location. Couldn’t have asked for better! We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

I had dinner here whilst staying overnight at a mates place in a town nearby. I enjoyed the food and the real country feel to the pub. The staff were really friendly and honest. Even without the head chef that night the meal was still good. I'm sure be even location during light hours with the river across the road.

Wonderful old restored pub on the bank of the Tweed River (actually across the small road). Great place to sit and relax & watch the occasional riverboat or dolphins go by . Very friendly staff & has a good lunch with blackboard specials daily at reasonable prices, Seafood Platters only available Fri, Sat & Sun. We had Prawn, Avacado Bake w/- Chips & Salad. Excellent, We can definitely recommend. I suggest midweek for a quieter experience as gets very busy on weekends & a lot of motorcycle riders seem to find it a popular stop off point .

This is a favourite when driving up the North Coast. Great atmosphere, plenty of room for lunch.
I have always enjoyed the ribs, but this time they were exceptionally nice with the BBQ source.
The Beef Thai Salad was tasty with the spicy sauce

Beautiful location on the river. Great food. Definitely one of my favourite places in the Tweed Valley to bring visiting friends for lunch or dinner. You won't regret eating here the meals are always delicious and the menu is excellent.

We were recommended to stop in and I am glad we did. The location and setting was fantastic. The menu had heaps of things on there that we were excited to try and what we went with were not just delicious but huge. Definitely come with an appetite. Plenty of parking too (although that impacted the view).

We had a wonderful birthday lunch for my Nana, the staff were wonderful. the food was great . And the view was beautiful.

A quaint old fashioned pub set in a scenic location on the river. Great service, very generous and tasty meals which are well priced. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
