The food and coffee are just delicious. You can feel it is all carefully prepared by someone who enjoys doing it. Service is very nice and efficient. It is a small relaxed place steps from the beach. It totally exceeded my expectations.

This became our favourite place whilst we stayed in Kingscliff.. awesome seafood and chips during the week and sensational bacon & egg for breakfast during the weekend it was ticks all around.
Their fish is fresh and tasty, their chips just awesome and then also had on offer fresh prawns and batters oysters - what else do you want. Plus their no nonsense bacon & egg just made it an all around great place
The team and owner just know how to make you feel special and provided an outstanding service which made us go back over and over again.

Okay so I don't usually do Google reviews, and I'm so-so on fish and chips, but this was honestly the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. We had the tandoori barrimundi with prawns and an amazing salad! We also had a serve of calamari, and some chips. No joke this food was the best fish and chips of my life. And a really reasonable price as well. Not too greasy, great flavour, tender hand made calamari, flavourful fish and prawns, amazing salad.

Service with a smile, the grilled tandoori spiced barra & prawns with mango, mixed leaf salad unbelievably good!!! Also the mixed taco plate of 3, so yummy. Def recommend, the menu is fantastic, best food I've had in a long time.

Great spot for breakfast on a sunny winter day. Perfect waffles, crispy on the outside tender on the inside, with bacon bananas and maple syrup *chef's kiss* Mr ordered the big breakfast and loved it too.

Yummy place. Big breakfast was generous and all very healthy tasting (not oily).
Would benefit from freshly cracked salt & pepper on the tables.

Great fish and chips. Light batter and shoe string fries were great.

We went to The Salty Beardman after a friend recommended it. Grabbed the Barramundi and chips which was a nice serving size for the two of us. The Barramundi was grilled to perfection and the French fries were crisp and tasty. Service was fast and the manager made us feel very welcome and asked several times if we needed any thing more. Highly recommend this place if your looking for fish ‘n’ chips in Kingscliff!!

Perfect spot for a delicious feed and smooth coffee. Lovely customer service, didn’t have to wait long for food to come out regardless of peak busy periods. Consistent coffee, delicious blend with a creamy texture.

Ok. Wow. Yes you can have fish and chips (also excellent). But check out this tandoori barramundi and prawns with mango salad. This is high quality restaurant food at a beachside fish and chip shop. The staff are so lovely, the location is lovely and the food is some of the best seafood ever. Will make the drive from Gold Coast a lot more after this.

The best fish and chips I have had in a long time! We ordered the sweet lip crumbed and grilled. Bloody beautiful! Highly recommend!

Oh my word, it takes a lot to get me raving about fish and chips but this battered whitehead so deserves a shout out. Delicious!

Sensational easy Sunday night dinner ... Fish taco's and fat chips ⭐

My wife and I lunched here yesterday. We both had grilled snapper, chips and garden salad. Fish was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. Salad was generous and tasty. Chips were the best I've ever had. Staff were obliging and easy-going. Highly recommended.

First time lunching at The Salty Beardman. Great spot across from the beach. As a group we really enjoyed our lunches. Great variety of food. For me the calamari with the Vietnamese Mango Salad was a winner. Calamari melted in my mouth and they did not stint on the amount served. Salad fresh and tasty. Good service, will be back

Do not walk past, if you have not been get yourself down there before you miss the meal of your life.
