We had a celebration here and the venue was great.
The food was delicious and the service was very attentive.
All staff were pleasant and approachable and the playground was a hit with children.
Nicole and the staff went out of there way to cater for of our needs.

$18 schnitzel deal including a pint of Beer inc salad bar and hot veg bar, cannot go wrong. It's a great deal, Matter of fact it's the sale of the century.

Small, intimate little bistro. Warm atmosphere with equally warm staff. The curry and rice with pappadums was hot in temperature without being hot in spice that you couldn't taste what you were eating. Though it was the beginning of the holiday events, we were booked at the hotel at noticed how quiet it was. Perfect for a quiet meal with colleagues. Thanks, Exeter. I wish I had checked the Exeter hotel out before my visit to the semaphore hotel yesterday as it Definately was not a good experience & I should of known as they do not acknowledge any reviews 👎
So next time we are in semaphore our choice will absolutely b The Exeter 👍

We came down for the playground and a kid friendly pub meal. Staff were lovely and the food was delicious, we waited a while as it was peak lunch service on a weekend, but the playground kept the kids happy. Definitely worth the drive.

This amazing heritage hotel was the spot to host a surprise 50th birthday party for my husband. Decorating the shed which leads into the beer garden was perfect with the warm party lights. The big screen tv was great for an amazing slideshow and music to share with all our guests. The managers and team are fantastic and hospitable and help catered for all our needs.
The platters are full of flavour and are great sizes, definitely value for money.
Suitable for all ages with an indoor playground.

Stayed here a few times, comfy bedrooms rooms, "Nightcap" Chain accommodation, discount on food if you stay over night, with a free drink each. food is great, has a beer garden. kid friendly with an indoor playground. not too pricey either.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Exeter. The service was extremely friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean.
The complimentary drinks and discount on our meal was fantastic. We had a thoroughly delicious meal for a wonderful price.

G'day.Yesterday,(sun 21st jan) we booked the rear section on the dining room to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary with 46 family & friends. From the minute we arrived to set up nothing was too much effort for Nicole (manager) & her staff who left us nothing to worry about. Nic set up the house tv forus to run a slide show of our 60yrs including a sound perfomance that our grand daughter had produced, What a show. We supplied a cake & the staff supplied plates & cuttlery. A table was set aside to display our cards including from The king & Queen, Gov General, Premier & other pollies.
A reunion of sorts with my entire band lineup, The Esquires. (No they didn't perform, too bluddy old).
Every attendee have contacted us with favourable comments about the location & standard of our show. Many thanks to Nicole & her happy group for their efforts. Regards Bobby & Kaye Hunter.
PS Even our 6 great grand kids thoroughly enjoyed the playground facilities which was also instrumental in us selecting your venue.

Went here for my mother in law’s birthday dinner and was absolutely amazed the food was perfect salad and veg bar was nice and topped up regularly, service was excellent waiters and waitresses were very friendly and polite would definitely recommend for a nice meal

Dont have a photo but the chef made a nice cheesecake with some writing in chocolate and thought it was so sweet

While it was definitely a busy day, the staff were lovely and accommodating! As usual the food was delicious.

Food amazing as always, service was second to none. Will definitely be back again, always a great place to come for a feed

Great "old school" pub. Front bar full of colourful characters. Easy parking, great service, good happy hour.
