The Pink House

The best place in town to stay. The guest rooms are super nice and come with warm air conditioning. If you’re lucky enough to get a long term room, you’ll have access to great facilities which are kept immaculately clean. The hosts are very accommodating and always on hand to help. All the other people living there are awesome and friendly. What a place!

The truth is that we found a very nice accommodation. We lived long term with my girlfriend for 3 months, without a doubt, Pink House has everything you need, the people are very attentive and we were able to feel like home. Full kitchen, living room for free time and enjoying a good bonfire with friends. Spacious and tidy rooms. Good showers with hot water.

Dale and Wendy are very good hosts. And Walgett is very welcoming because there are people like them.

Awesome place to stay. Very clean room and reasonably priced. Bonus for me was a lock up garage for my motorbike for storage overnight. Short walk to the local RSL for awesome chinese food.

The pink house is amazing place to stay in such a rural area, stayed here for 3 months the atmosphere was very chilled and welcoming while being very clean and tidy. All people that stayed were amazing and the hosts were very accommodating to anything I needed and had a fantastic stay while having a comfortable room and personal space as well, overall a very social and enjoyable place to stay

Accommodation is very clean, and Dale was cheerful and friendly and made us feel right at home.The shared amenities didn't bother us.

Our bed was comfortable and both electric blanket and the AC were great.We loved our stay, we felt right at home.

What a great spot! The old Walgett Nurses Quarters from the 1940s. So great what Dale and his family have done here. It is good, honest, clean accommodation and you dont find places like this very often. We were a bit worried being on the highway but it is set back far enough we couldnt hear any of the traffic. Booking in was easy and we paid on arrival. Great to have a chat with some of the long term residents and to hear their stories. We would definitely stay at the Pink House again. Thanks Dale

This place was a great find.
Dale's been working hard to get the place up to scratch and it shows.
Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with their own A/C.
Shared bathrooms are spotless and roomy.
Shoot a game of pool in the common room or lift some weights in the gym.
Large fully furnished kitchens. Got more utensils and pans than even my place.
Best rates in town, you wont find a better price.
Top spot, if I'm anywhere near Walgett again I'll be staying here.

We stayed fews months and it was the perfect place of the town. Wendy and Dale are amazing people, helpful, kind. The bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom are very clean. There is a little gym too, so nice. We recommend for everyone who wants to stay in Walgett.

Stayed for one night, the staff were very hospitable and polite, rooms are decent and clean, and the bed is comfortable and neat. Plus they have wifi as well. Parked my car outside they have security cameras every where and place was secure.
I recommend this place for staying, price was also decent, not too expensive and not to cheap either.

I stayed at this motel while road tripping from perth to Brisbane.

The establishment itself has all that you need from a comunnal kitchen, showers,laundry and also a gym!

Very comfortable bed and air conditioner in the room. Big kitchen with plenty of space. The owner and other people staying were really nice and helpful with any questions. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in walgett!! :) I

Dale and Wendy are excellent hosts and are extremely helpful. Rooms are cosy and have a decent split system. Place has everything you could possibly need and will definitely stay again next time im in walgett 👍

Best price, always clean. Comfortable spacious rooms with fresh bedding. The only place I will stay in Walgett.

Wendy & Dale are brilliant! Picked us up from the airport ( Walgetts taxi service is no more), put us up for the night, ran us into town for dinner. The pink house sounds risque but in reality is just really nice & friendly.

Lovely clean room and facilities, great hosts. Dale dropped us down to the Club for dinner which was great,
we will stay here again when next in town.

My car broke down carinda.. searching motel's find the pinkhause.. callup for help.. get Dale he pick me up with my vanuatu mates.. 🇻🇺 we settle in pinkhause I was on room 27.. I stay for 2 nights meeting the owner as a freind he treated mi so kindly invited for dinner..the room was amazing with aircorn the double bed was only for me for 2nigths.. Dale brother you got a brother here frm vanuatu thanks for the good hospitality..
