The place is not very big, but it is a place where you can learn about indigenous culture in a small town. The children linger here~

Nice little museum with 3 rooms, I particularly liked the 30 year anniversary exhibition, there's great paintings. The ticket also gives access to the aviation museum where heaps of stuff are displayed.

Always worth dropping in for a look.
They had 3 exhibitions here which included a wide range of interesting pieces of art and ceramics.

Very nice local art museum. Small, but nicely appointed. Free parking available. Tickets reasonably priced and include the nearby aviation museum. Outside, they have a very large art installation that you can walk through. See attached photos.

Enjoyed the recent exhibition of Albert Namatjira, his beautiful watercolours. It was good to see local living artists get their works hung.
The centre has beautiful modern/ traditional First Nations inspired Lead Light windows that are awesome and the adjoining outdoor area has fabulous traditional dot art on the exterior of the building. I'm sad I missed the crafts centre as it closes early.

Presentation is Impressive. Not only about the art and crafts, but also presents cotemporary trends like Instagram, virtual reality and audio presentations. If you are a student free of charge. Otherwise you have to spend 17$

On each occasion we have attended the centre we have had a great time.

The cinema inside reminds me of the original cinemas such as Picadilly in North Adelaide, although I think the chairs are more comfortable than that.
There are regular shows and movie events here.

The Beanie Festival was another occasion and we attended over 3 days, first for the charity event then the main sale which totally surprised me with its magnitude and support for this cause. The Beanie Festival is a bucket list event. in the middle of the deep chill of winter there. The creativity and enthusiasm comes from all over Australia even International pieces with ALL kinds of headgear up for sale to support The Arts here in Central Australia.

My experience is still entirely limited but I get the impression that the Arts Centre is the centre of the universe here for a collaborative effort to support the sensationally talented artistic creations of Indigenous Australians.

What an amazing place. Beautiful aboriginal art from different cultural background, amazing museum with audio support from the beginning of the earth to early pioneers and the impact of white man in Central Australia. A beautiful exhibition. Well displayed. Well done to everyone who works there and created this place.

We stopped in here to stretch our legs, get out of the heat and appreciate some central Australian art. The staff here are very lovely and the gallery spaces are wonderful to walk though

Great spot with three different attractions. Cultural centre has three galleries with impressive art from indigenous and other artists. The museum of Central Australia is brilliant telling the history of this area from a geological, geophysical and anthropological perspective. The air museum is all about the early pioneers of air travel in Central Australia, including the fascinating story of Connellan Airways. Not to be missed.

A must visit if you are in Alice Springs. Highly recommended. Good selection of books in the gallery shop as well. Really good coffee at the cafe out the back as well.
