Riverton Caravan Park

Great spot to be able to see the Clare Valley. Access to the pool was fantastic. The best part was the management lovely people friendly helpful and great travel tips. Will be back

This is the second time we have visited the caravan park this year and it has to have the friendliest owners we have ever met. Dusty and Louise go above and beyond to ensure their campers have everything they need and are very welcoming. Small lovely park with spotless amenities and a good playground. The football oval, golf course and swimming pool are right next to the park. Really friendly and nice town, a good base to explore the region. Highly recommend this park and will definitely will be back.

Enjoyed our stay a riverton caravan park over Xmas made feel very welcome very friendly staff clean toilets and showers and camp kitchen will be going back.

A great little park. Run by a beautiful couple, nothing is too much trouble. Dusty always helping you get the best out of the park and the Riverton area. Wineries to local markets recommended for us all. Thank you for your Hospitality Jim and Wendy

Had a powered site, staff could not have been more helpful. Nice town and as noted by other reviewers, trucks finish going though about 9pm.
Great playground, weather not warm enough for pool, but looks gr8 for summer. Will be back. Thanks

It was simple, clean & cheap. It was just what we were after to shelter from the storm while we were touring through SA

I have my own van. Visited with Jayco Jaybirds SA. Lovely place Dusty and Louise are very welcoming. Facilities are very clean and nice to use. Dog friendly, family friendly. Close to the oval, swimming pool, golf course, and a short walk to town. Excellent.

Stayed with Jayco Jaybirds SA. I did not stay in a cabin as I have my own van. Lovely Town. Dusty and Louise are very welcoming hosts, making sure everything is in order and quick to offer help. Good facilities. Beautiful grassed camp sites. Dog friendly, family friendly. Caravan park is next to the oval and swimming pool.

Great place to stay. Great facilities, great friendly/family place to stay. Amazing playground. We will definitely be staying again real soon.

I stayed here with my parents in September, my parents and I loved the caravan park, our dog loved it too, and when he is happy we're happy too. The amenities were exceptional always beautiful and clean, a lovely quiet place to stay. Having a nice grassed area to park the caravan was fantastic. The park manager was and is very friendly and approachable. Overall a fantastic place to return to. Which we indeed will be.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely little town with a great sized caravan park. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxed. Deluxe cabin really nice, comfy bed, cooking utensils, tv, plenty of storage and heater/air con will be back for sure

Beautiful green caravan park with a pool and a big kids park. The husband and wife run the caravan park where lovely and very helpful nothing was to much for them to make your stay comfortable

Riverton Caravan Park , where we have been staying for this last fortnight up until Christmas is truly one of the great caravan parks.
Council owned & run it is reasonably priced considering the facilities available & it is well suited to accommodate either a couple or a large group (say a church group or something similar).

There is even a oval with a grandstand that has a large hall underneath that can be hired for events (Covid willing).

The golf course is right across the road & it is a hub for a number of cycle tracks to nearby towns & venues.

The Owners are super friendly. And Carolyn is the magic women who can organise things on request in a bit. The Park is a home away from home and every facility in the Cabins are home everyday usable items, i.e microwave, decent size Full HD tv very comfortable beds and super perfect heating and cooling along with the cleanliness of the interior with all cooking utensils. As a first time personal experience I have noticed that most guest with Caravan, camping at the park for stopovers to transit or holiday are super friendly and it made me feel like I am home with my family. I mostly travel for work purposes and stay at local caravan parks, been to many places, but this experience is unique. Riverton is a small beautiful town very green and bit cold for winter but this cold is a manageable cold you don't really feel, as the breeze is super cool. I definitely recommend anyone to visit Riverton and this Caravan park will sort your accommodation in a jiffy. Just ask for Carolyn the magic women... P.S children and pets too will love this park as its got play park and pet friendly running grounds. Hope you enjoy your stay.
