If you love animals - especially our special native Kangaroos. If you love rescuing animals that have been separated from their mothers and giving them a chance to live. If you would like the chance to get up close with these animals, learn about their lives and cuddle a baby kangaroo (joey), then this is a must visit. Seeing the smiles and excitement in kids (big and small) was totally infectious. This wonderful experience and a tour of the sanctuary is under the guidance of loveable man named Brolga who owns the sanctuary and is so passionate about rescuing our kangaroos. Want to experience something out of this world visit the Earth Sanctuary just outside Alice Springs in the NT. My family and I were blown away seeing planets from the telescopes as if we could just reach out and touch them. Tom, Dan and their Father Joey are the perfect teachers of the stars and universe. We were blessed to be able to camp at the sanctuary. Showers and toilets clean and with no light pollution you can lay in your swag and just look up at the night sky and count falling stars. Beautiful & quiet.

We visited Earth Sanctuary last week for dinner and the star talk. Unfortunately, we were rained out from the stars so had dinner inside the homestead but it was so delicious it didn't matter! My fave meal of the trip - great, home-cooked, tasty fare and they catered to my dietary requirements with ease (thank you!).

Everyone that worked there was super friendly and welcoming, and Danny's passion during the astronomy talk made me wish we were staying overnight for the full experience. A must-do when visiting Alice Springs.

Amazing food, amazing views, amazing entertainment - local girls aboriginal drumming group, and this food creation- i think it was a huge trifle - made on the back of a truck in front of our eyes! What an experience.

The Earth Sanctuary is a fantastic venue for corporate events and weddings, with an authentic Outback feel that is unique to Alice Springs. The Falzon family have built an incredible venue and go above and beyond to ensure their clients are well taken care of, whether it's a big or small event, their flexibility and friendliness is outstanding. A bus service to and from the venue and full catering is all available onsite so everything can be done in house. There are a range of informative and entertaining experiences available including star gazing talks, cooking classes and other great hands on activities that are perfect for corporate team building events. I've photographed many corporate events and weddings at The Earth Sanctuary and can highly recommend them as an outstanding Alice Springs venue!

Cannot say enough about how much I liked our visit this evening. From the first greeting to our serenading guitar player and the canapes to the chance to see the stars from a whole different perspective, down huge telescopes and across the sky on stories. Beautiful.

I attended the astronomy evening here and it was magical. You are guided through the vast night sky by a very knowledgeable guide. After the talk we were able to look through two different telescopes. This would be great for kids who have an interest in space. I would definitely recommend this evening . it was great value for money and they have a shuttle bus available if you don't have transport

Just brilliant. Dan, Joe and the family really looked after us with a great BBQ dinner and a lesson all about the stars. Lovely people, great food what else could you ask for.

One of the most fun tours I've had the pleasure of experiencing! Dan and Tom were our guides and told us so many stories that kept us captivated throughout the tour. I consider this experience an absolute must do!

Awesome experience sleeping under the stars in swags on a dark sky night. Very well organised with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this activity for something different when going to Alice Springs. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience - was able to purchase a drink from the bar, use a couple telescopes and learn about space and navigation from their knowledgeable and experienced staff. Plus, what better place to look up than in the outback?! I would highly recommend!

We had our wedding at the earth sanctuary and were blown away by the wonderful service from the team. They made every decision easy, and went above and beyond to help us organise and have our wedding the way we had imagined. Candice was exceptionally professional and so easy to work with. They were very flexible to our ideas/needs. The venue was absolutely beautiful - and we would so recommend people to consider this business for any large events!

We had the best astronomical experience. The family who runs this are amazing. He mapped the sky in such simple words that I want to learn more about southern skies and have become more passionate about it. My child also enjoyed it a lot and is now hooked onto finding the southern Cross where ever we go.

If you ever write a book or start a blog, please keep me posted. Our family will definitely read it.

Amazing experience. Learned a lot about kangaroos. Hopefully it helps spread awareness on how to save orphaned baby kangaroos.
