Blackbutt Dog Park

This is a super little dog park! And in Wauchope of all places. The agility equipment is fun and it all seems to be well maintained.

Large space and fences separating big dogs and small dogs areas.

Separate areas for smaller and larger dogs. Good water fountain. Agility training equipment. No puddle-muddy zones like at Laurieton. Easy parking. Gazebo/shelter and seating available. Very nice experience for my pup's first ever dog park visit. Worth the drive from Lake Cathie for me since I don't have a large yard for my large dog.

Great asset to the town, 2 areas for larger or small dogs with areas for the humans to sit while the dogs play. Could look top improve parking sms possible add a 2nd entry/exit at the opposite end.

Great dog park, separate large and small dog areas, obedience training equipment. Water for dogs and people as well as provided enviro bags for poop. Please visit with your dogs, Taco wants to play with them!

What a BEAUTIFUL place to take your dog. Very peaceful, large paddocks with plenty of trees for shade, clean water, lovely park benches, play equipment, poo bags provided... really the best dog park I've been to.

A great place for dogs and owners to get out and be sociable. The area is split into a big dog section and a little dog section. Both sections have tyres, logs, and other obstacles to play on and with. Thee are bins for rubbish, bags for poop collection, and water taps also. Great little project from the council. Great to see lots of dogs and owners here. A good amount of shade too.

Currently, the dog park is still under construction. The large park area has been divided into two sections. A small section taking up approximately 25% of total area and a large area taking up the remaining 75%. Obviously, a large and small dog area. Competition style obstacles are currently being installed. Bins are provided. Also, hydration stations as well.

Can I take my cat here? Because I already did. Loved playing with the dogs but Baxter felt a little bullied when the Rottie bit his ear. Would recommend! Bringing pepper spray next time to protect my sweet kitty.

Very sociable for dog owners as well as our precious pets.

This park is set up very well to cater for all dogs at any size , it's fully fenced around the park so the dogs don't run into the road traffic or cause havoc around the neighborhood plus parking for participants, all in toll a great job

As I miss my kelpie and love to see the other dogs, big and small. They are all very friendly
