Settlers Arms Inn

Lovely setting in St Albans, the pub is historic and interesting. The food was excellent and the beer good. A great little country pub.

A perfect spot to stop for lunch on a Sunday drive. Great no messing about pub grub and good selection of beers. There was a quaint market on across the road too as an added bonus. Great to see Australian history being preserved.

Thank you to all the staff at settlers arms inn who made my proposal to my fiance a a very beautiful and special moment! the staff were kind enough to put aside decorate a dining room for us to have dinner on short notice and I couldn't have asked for anything more. you have helped to create a lifelong memory and we will be back to visit as often as we can!

Stopped by for a quick drink with the family. Great character and good beer and cider. There are peacocks in the back garden.
Food portions are huge! Make sure check it out on a weekend when the markets next door are on!

Stopped here near St Albans. A rustic old pub with really good food. Lamb shank was very tasty. The scones were great. No phone reception though so just enjoy the company you are with.

We used only the bar, a beautiful bar with antique and beautiful decor, evoking the sense of past decades

Had lunch here on a Friday while staying at Del Rio Resort up the road. I had the pie and my husband had the pork belly. My goodness was it yum and very generous portion sizes. We were served by a very charismatic lady behind the bar and received our food quite fast considering the limited staff members. Very old world feel to the place, really enjoyed seeing the striking peacocks and chooks running about.

Great little hotel, always good food with great locals.

Wow. What a lovely little historic pub. The staff were lovely and down for a laugh, and the pie! Omg, never had a pie quite like it. Mark, u definitely know what your doing when it comes to pies, the slow cooked beef just melted in Ur mouth. Magnificent. 10 out of 10

We visited this tiny town several times in past 20 years & attended a couple of memorable folk festivals. Always thought it’d be nice to stay at the pub & finally made it. More like a very friendly, historic farm-stay in an incredible natural environment. I’d love to see more information about pre colonial history. It has been a special place for such a long time.

Awesome old pub with a rustic styling and genuine charming heritage character. We visited on the weekend of the St Alban's folk festival, so the atmosphere was exceptional work live music rolling late into the night and guest breweries providing fine and interesting ales. I didn't eat here but the food looked excellent with traditional fate being enjoyed by many punters. I'll be back here, highly recommend.

Nice place to visit, older pub but clean facilities and nice staff. I have seen some people complain about service but we and other patrons on the day did not have any problems. We had fish and chips, cold beer and on 40 degrees hot day ice-cream. We were sitting in the garden at the back and there was live music, food came out so quick and it was delicious

Great destination. I'm a Biker. Beer, feed, turn around go home. Been here a few times, well worth the ride. 🍻🍺🇦🇺👍

First time back to St Albans and the pub in over 30 years.
Great old pub, great food, ( had the pork belly and WOW), great staff and the band playing today , The Settlers, were absolutely terrific.
Can't wait to go back.

We had lunch with a group of 16. All the food arrived together and exceeded expectations. The staff in the kitchen did an amazing job on a hot and busy day. Melt in your mouth steaks, crisp fresh salads, and delicious lobster mornay. The food, atmosphere and lovely staff made for an amazing afternoon. Thank you!

We eloped at St Joseph’s guesthouse and come to the settlers arms Inn for lunch.
If you want an authentic rustic theme wedding then you have to come to the Settlers arms Inn. Its just perfect. From the old fire places to the hard wood floors to the low ceilings you feel you’re back in time. When I first sat down with a smile on my face and a happy heart all I could say is Wow!!! The owners are so friendly, I was given the opportunity to decorate the backroom how we wanted. It didn’t need much decorating because the old charm was just perfect for a rustic theme. Then I got to talk with head chef Tilly who was amazing. I would email her about what I wanted for lunch and she did everything perfect and how I wanted. The lamb just melted in your mouth and the salads were too yummy. Thank you Settlers Arms Inn!! you made our day that extra special.

Fabulous pub lots of seating outside under the shade of big trees. Chickens, peacocks roaming around and plenty of toys to entertain the kids. Friendly & happy staff
Meals were delicious and huge!

Had the wild mushroom risotto and the lamb and I cannot stop thinking about how good the food was! We beat the lunch rush. Staff were friendly and just overall it was a beautiful day.
There was also a stand selling pecan pies and they were so good. Not overly sweet! Yum!

Historic old school Inn with an open fire place, big glasses of wine, good beer and really fine food, nice big tree out back for the kids to climb. Really friendly staff who make the place even better. Gets really busy on the weekends, so plan ahead.
