Cosy restaurant nestled in a lane way,
Lovely interior and vibe.
Food is great but not if you can't handle a bit of spice !

Great for small groups, probably could have used a little more table space for all the food we ordered 😄

I recently organised my birthday dinner here.
We had the banquet menu!
I can not speak highly enough of the staff! They were attentive and kind! Accommodated our food requests with no issues! The
food was delicious! And the banquet had so much food! The cocktails were also delightful
It was an excellent experience!

I have been to several Thai restaurants before but I don't think any of them can measure up to Lantern by Nu. When I first walked in, I loved the vibe of the restaurant, it is just esthetically pleasing to look at. The staff members are so welcoming as everyone greets you and you just feel so comfortable being here. Now let's talk about the food, which was what blew my mind. Every single dish that was severed to us was amazing. We did the feed me menu which was $65. The amount of food we got versus the quality, it was out of this world. Everything was cooked perfectly, balanced with the Thai herbs and spices that complemented every single dish that came out, from beef cheek curry, lamb curry, salt and pepper squid to the oysters. I was told this restaurant was great, but this literally blew my mind. I'm so coming back here again.

Had a great dinner here and flying straight in with a 5 star. Service is good. Atmosphere is great and I was really surprised by how authentic the mains were.

Thi green curry was incredible and it was like I was in Thailand. Beef cheek was extremely good and dumplings were amazing.

For the price and total package this was bang on and I would find it very unlikely that you would get a negative experience going here.

This is the first time I’ve been here in about 2 years and I noticed an improvement on the food for sure. It was refreshing to have a taste of Thailand after being there only a few months ago. Normally dishes like a green curry are underwhelming, but not here.

Anywhere around the gouger st area, this is a very good option if you we’re after modern Thai food. I will go back for sure 👍🏼

Went here after traveling through Vietnam, Thailand and new Zealand for four months and can honestly say this was the best food I've eaten on my whole trip. Was just amazed at how incredible everything tasted. The host Tam was just excellent and the food came out so quick. I would really recommend the "trust the chef" option along with the oysters were incredible! Would definitely eat here again

How good is this place? Very!
I didn't even know this place existed, if you don't know it's there you will drive/ walk right by.
We had a large group and pretty much had everything on the menu and there were no complaints.
Beef cheeks, lamb curry, eggplant and chicken wings were the stand outs. The cocktails were really good as well.
As good as the food was the service, the waitresses was helpful and honest.
We will be coming back or at the least ordering for takeout!!

Easily the BEST Thai food in Adelaide!
Traditional dishes with a contemporary twist and all delicious. The serve of beef cheek was huge and melted like butter. The pork belly, the coconut rice, the dumplings, the hummus - wow - all of it was sensational! Friendly service, beautiful venue and a new favourite of mine in the heart of the CBD

Wow! You wouldn’t know this restaurant was here if you were walking past. Really delicious food, outstanding ambiance and terrific fast service (almost too fast). Will definitely be back here again when in Adelaide. For the record we had red curry beef cheeks and Thai fried rice as a main.

So delicious, we had some course menus and that was so much food. Their service was good and the dishes came out quickly. Enjoy coming to Lantern by Nu for special occasions.

My girlfriends & I had an incredible dining experience at Lantern by Nu. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were blown away by the flavors in every dish. But what truly made the evening exceptional was the kindness of the staff, especially the female manager on Thursday night. Her empathy and warmth were absolutely beautiful and made us feel truly welcome.

I highly recommend others to support this Thai restaurant. Not only do they produce wonderful food, but they also offer great value for money. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. Lanterns by Nu exceeds in service and quality of food. Everthing ordered was mouthwatering and the coconut icecream was divine! Thanks to all the staff for a great evening!

Greater focus on traditional features without going too contemporary. Prompt service, proper spectrum of flavours, lively decor. Definitely returning.

Man oh man. Legit review because I don't even like Thai food and this place blew my mind. Portions were so generous, food was so delicious and service was so so friendly. What a fantastic restaurant, I have been recommending it left, right and Centre to anyone who would care to listen. Keep up the good work, guys!

Very tasty food with good sized portions. Service was great. Atmosphere wise we were right next to the kitchen which isn't the best but otherwise a great place to eat, would recommend.

Went here for a work social event and we got the banquet. Amazing food, very cool atmosphere. A little bit loud for conversation but loved it all the same.

Food was really tasty! Next time I go I'd order less if dining for two as the mains were really big but can't fault the food

Highly recommend! The food was amazing we ordered Crispy beef and Crispy pork belly. Great service the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back!
