The shop assistants were friendly, the prices are great (most pieces around 5-25AUD), and the stock is beautifully arranged and nicely sorted; the sections are all very logical and convenient, and I love that they sorted (as much as they could!) the pieces in each section by colour. I'm also amazed they actually have wedding dresses and accessories available :o

The only downside I think is the quality of some of the items; many are visibly aged and poorly constructed... Although it can't be helped since they are donated items after all, but it is something worth noting. Not all are like that of course, and if you have an afternoon free why not hunt for some treasures ;)

Good selection of clothing, limited selection of other items (books, homewares, toys etc).
A Salvation Army shop, so prices a little higher than some op shops, but they do generally have a weekly half-off on a specific 'colour' price.

A great organisation doing good things for our community. Hard to believe that when I visited the Wentworth jail the female prisoners they had at the turn of last century was from the Salvos and their protesting. I think it was linked into the temperance movement at that time.

It has a large hall area to fit more than 100 people, there is a separate chapel. Separate kitchen and many smaller separate rooms. However car parking can be an issue at times due to the cinemas, and shopping centre nearby.

What can you say, the Salvos are one of the great forces for good on this planet. More power to you.
