Valley View Luxury Retreat

Our experience was delightful!
The view is breathtaking! Animals are just gorgeous, the facilities (especially spa and animal feed) were fantastic and there was nothing not thought of! The attention to detail was above and beyond. We felt very cared for during our stay.
Highly recommend for anyone, whether travelling from afar or within an hour away like us! It was a dreamy weekend. We’ll be back!

My husband I had our renewal ceremony with this immaculate view and stayed for 4 days for our honeymoon. Every detail has been thought of, we cannot be more thankful for the complimentary hamper which had the most amazing Destiny Diamond collection products to enjoy, definitely hit up their website or visit Destiny Haven you will not be disappointed in their wonderful products and the stories behind making them.

We loved the pizza oven, so easy to use. Cosy fire place, good collection of movies, we enjoyed watching all the karate kid original movies in the most comfy living room, with some candles and popcorn such a vibe!

The night creatures coming out to play, friendly possums, bandicoots, kangaroos and a bunch more. During the day, friendly kangaroos, soaring eagles, awesome walking tracks.

My hubby doesn’t like leaving the house much and so this was his first time really going somewhere and by the fourth day he was asking ‘do you reckon we could extend our stay, I really don’t want to leave’ 😂

This is a very special place for us and always will be. Can’t wait to revisit!

What an AMAZING place to stay! Our first visit..
Was only the 2 of us this visit but already talking of our next visit with a few friends....very spacious bedrooms, the pool room & cupboard full of board games, comfy lounges, fireplace..oh and the outdoor spa with such a view!!
The views & all the animals were just wonderful!
Very clean & tidy, plenty of home comforts (including all the tea/coffee to choose from, the pantry with herbs/spices/oils/condiments) & the welcome basket with some of The Diamond Collection goodies (yummy!!!) The breakfast pack was amazing value (yummy local bread, bacon & eggs!) & WOW those pizzas, fully loaded waiting in the fridge for us & for us to cooked in the outdoor pizza oven.

The photos do not do Valley View Justice, this place is AMAZING, Jodie was so helpful, friendly and professional. From the AWESOME View, to the pool table, the spa, omg the view from the spa!!! Wow! So relaxing. The beautiful wildlife, the lounge room, the bedrooms, the BBQ area, the list just goes on. We were so sad we had to leave, I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone, it's just breathtaking. We will definitely be back. I came to Valley View for a weekend, to enjoy a relaxing escape with family. Directions and check in instructions were great making it super easy to find and get settled. Upon driving up to the lodge, you get absolutely blown away by the view. So much better and more breathtaking that any picture gives it credit for. We were welcome by some Aussie wildlife, including a kookaburra and a Roo. The lodge is warm and cosy and has a real comforting vibe. It’s a lot bigger than expected and very high quality! Everything from the outdoor furniture to o the utensils in the kitchen screams luxury. Every detail has been attended to, it’s like staying in an actual home. They provide books to read, DVD’s, a TV in every room. A pool table, a cupboard full of board games, tennis racquets, candles, mozzie coils, the list goes on. The kitchen cupboard is filled with all your staples - from herbs and spices to baked beans! What really impressed us was the lovely gifts... a bottle of champers, cheese and crackers and a hamper of chocolates and condiments. I’ve never been anywhere ever that is so generous and puts so much effort in to all the little detail. It really made our time here so special, we felt genuinely cared for and that is what hospitality is all about.
We were welcomed by a family of friendly Kangaroos when we woke up in the first morning, that was really something! The lodge provides Roo food so you can feed them from your hand. There are so many areas to hang out on the verandas, and two of the bedrooms having their own access. We spent hours in the outdoor hot tub/spa! Relaxing amongst the mountains with the sound of nature around you.
I couldn’t recommend Valley View more. If you want a relaxing getaway or a wildlife experience, this is the place to go. I will be definitely be back.

Has to be seen to be believed. Unbeatable view of a completely underrated part of the Hunter. You won’t regret staying at Valley View and enjoying the facilities on offer at Eaglereach Resort. Had everything we need and more and you’ll never want to leave.

This labyrinth is a great place for introspection.

Beautiful retreat and accommodation, glorious views, kangaroos galore to feed, everything you need and more is provided here, including a lovely welcome hamper which was an absolute treat.
The only drawback was that the pool is a 10minute walk up the road.
