Somerton Collection, Southern Highlands Accommodation

Our 5th stay at Somerton Ridge and we will continue to come back! Thanks to Judy and Graham for being such great hosts. The house is well equipped for an enjoyable stay, beautiful views and spacious surrounds to enjoy the southern highlands. We were a group of 6 adults with 4 kids but several times have stayed here just with our own family. The long walks around the property meeting the cows, alpacas and chickens make it a very memorable experience for all. Looking forward to our next stay

I had my wedding in the barn last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. Judy and Graham were so generous with their time before the wedding to make sure we had everything we needed and that the day ran smoothly. We had guests stay in each of the properties and they all had a lovely time. The Ridge especially is amazing - it is a big and beautiful and modern space with fabulous views. It was a pleasure to be able to experience this beautiful property and be able to have my wedding there as everything turned out so perfectly. I would definitely recommend using the barn to host an event or simply staying anywhere in Somerton Collection for a weekend getaway.

We loved our stay at Somerton Ridge. It is the perfect country holiday escape .
The house is spacious, comfortable and well fitted out. The views are stunning looking over the property.
There are lots of places to relax. Beautiful picnic areas on the property, a fabulous area out the back of the house with an open fireplace, large living area inside. We really enjoyed having drinks outside watching the sunset over the dam.
Judy and Graham are great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed.
Can’t wait to return for another visit!!!

We had 3 fun days last week staying at Somerton Ridge with friends. The house is stylish, impeccably clean, comfortable, well appointed with absolutely everything you need and Judy and Graham are the most wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble! The sunsets looking over the farm were beautiful and I cannot recommend the house more highly.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at Somerton Park numerous times and once at the Ridge. We absolutely adore Judy and Graham, and their properties are absolutely incredible. Their warm hospitality and exceptional communication make the experience even more delightful.

Whenever we visit the Highlands, it's our go-to destination. We've been fortunate enough to stay at places like Osbourne House and other holiday rentals, but there's something special about the remoteness of Somerton Park and the Ridge, combined with the abundance of creature comforts that make it feel like home (and even better).

The panoramic views are simply breathtaking, and the well-maintained farms provide a picturesque setting. It's delightful to take leisurely walks through the fields and greet the Packers lol. and the Highland Cows. And let's not forget about the fire pit, accompanied by a glass of red wine, and those stunning sunsets. It's simply irresistible!

The fresh eggs from the chicks behind the Ridge are an absolute treat, and for those lazy moments when we don't feel like cooking, the meals from Cook with Fran are simply wonderful. We indulged in the Moussaka and Chocolate dishes, and they were absolutely delicious. Yum!

We're already looking forward to our next weekend getaway, where we'll undoubtedly create more cherished memories. See you soon!

We had an excellent 2-night getaway at Somerton Barn. It’s an absolutely lovely place - very well designed, exceptionally clean and cosy. Everything looks very new. The views in the surrounding areas are just stunning and we spent a lot of time enjoying the views and watching animals in the farm. The Barn is well equipped with an outdoor fire pit, an indoor fire place, as well as wall-mounted heaters, fan heater and air-conditioning. We were amazed by how well we’re being looked after!

Judy and Graham were fantastic hosts with great communication. They checked in periodically that we had everything we need. Thank you Graham for coming by, saying hello when we arrived, helping us set up the fireplace on the first day and letting us know about the picnic spot up the hill. It was absolutely amazing and a PERFECT spot to watch sunset!

On the first night, we ordered dinner from “Cooking with Fran” as recommended. It was REALLY delicious with a reasonable price tag! The main courses, desserts and services were great. Thank you Fran for such a great meal and having it delivered to us. We enjoyed so much.

We should have booked a longer stay at the barn! Will definitely come back one day!

Without doubt the BEST farm stay we have ever had. We stayed at Somerton Ridge for a surprise 60th (we also booked out Somerton Barn for some of our group which worked fantastically). From the start (booking the houses) to leaving it was superb. The Somerton Ridge house is huge and incredibly luxurious. We all partied the weekend away with stunning food and stunning wines in a stunning setting. Despite being very cold outside (a feels like -5!!) the house was soooo warm.
Fully equipped with everything - literally can’t think of anything missing.
Champagne around the outside courtyard fire place was brilliant. Even managed to cook up my signature paella dish in the kitchen!!
A walk around the property and there is an abundance of animals - friendly highlands cattle, alpacas, sheep, black Angus, the occasional wombat, 2 friendly peacocks, chooks, golden pheasants….
Judy & Graham are the best hosts. Nothing is a problem. A true farm stay and highly recommend.

This weekend 21st and 22nd April, we held a special function in memory of my partner Ang at Somerton Collection. It was simply incredible in every way. Judy and Graham opened up the whole property for us, and were the most wonderful and generous hosts. The barn proved to be the perfect venue for both Friday and Saturday evenings, to provide a seemless "indoor / outdoor" experience that i will never forget! And the partnership with Scribbly Events Management, and Steadmans and Chapa service and catering was outstanding in every sense. Judy and Graham and their Somerton Collection property are nothing short of stunning. They were the most amazing hosts in the lead up to and during our wedding weekend. My immediately family stayed for the first few days, and I was lucky to have the final night on at the Somerton Ridge. It is nothing short of stunning. The view, house and finishings are all top quality and with nothing but wildlife between you and the hills makes for some stunning pictures. I highly recommend an outdoor bath at sunset with a glass of local pinot. Judy and Graham were amazing - even offering to help when our wedding accommodation elsewhere was cancelled last minute! The house is well furnished and has everything a large family would need to enjoy a weekend away (games, coffee machines, internet, you name it!). The Somerton Park location is also amazing and a little more secluded from the rest of the property - good for the teenagers if they want to get away! With an amazing fire pit, and more spectactular views, Judy and Graham have built an oasis in the stunning Southern Highlands. We will be back!

Somerton Ridge is our home away from home. My family has visited this stunning venue three time this year and has loved it as much each time. The house is extremely clean and comfortable, with all that you could require, and the views from the house are wonderful. Judy and Graham are exceptional hosts, very friendly and welcoming and attentive to all that you need.
Our grandchildren just love being out in the country and meeting all the animals - peacocks, alpacas and highland cattle to name a few. The highlight for our 6-year-old grandson was to feed the chooks and collect the eggs each morning.
There is a fabulous outdoor fire and dining area and also an outdoor bath to laze in, sip on a champagne or beer and take in the view!
There is much to do around this area as well. It is easy to be as busy as you like or just stay at home and enjoy the comfort and serenity.

We booked out Somerton Collection for our wedding weekend and it was the best decision we made. All three houses were amazing, the property has spectacular views everywhere you look. We hosted a wedding recovery brunch at the barn which was absolutely stunning, and had food and coffee van serving our guests. The photos getting ready on the morning of the wedding looked incredible, and every part of the weekend we spent at Somerton was just divine. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Where do I start ! A truly magnificent property located 90min from Sydney with breathtaking views across the ranges . The owners have thought of every possible kitchen appliance crockery and cutlery for 100 people and your welcomed with a lovely note and a basket of chocolates! The property is stunning with valley vistas from all 4 bedrooms and you wake up to beautiful cattle and the 2 resident peacocks ( Andrew And Shirley 😂) just outside your window ( yes it’s a working property ) . The highlight is the amazing open fire place under the pergola so bring the marshmallows!. The place was spotless when we arrived (so a huge rap for the cleaner ), bedding extremely comfortable and lovely linen . I highly recommend this Somerton Collection to all that want that country getaway in a secluded part of the southern highlands . We stayed in the Somerton Ridge - 4 couples and loved every minute of our stay ! The hosts Judy and Graham are loveliest people and only willing to make your stay that little more comfortable . We will be back ! Huge shout out to the chooks for providing the eggs each morning 👏👏👏

Our family of four stayed at Somerton Ridge and highly recommend it as a place to stay. A beautiful, spacious property perched amongst rolling hills, it is ideal for a country getaway. Although it is only a short 20 minute drive to Bowral, you feel miles away. We loved sitting outside with a glass of wine and cheese board, watching the sunset (not to mention the outdoor bathtub!). A great place for a young family.

Having just returned from our family mini break at Somerton Ridge we are now talking about when we can return. Judy ( & Graham’s) beautiful home in the Southern Highlands has everything you could possibly need for a peaceful retreat….welcoming, cosy & with a truly stunning outlook. We can’t wait to return. Fabulous stay in the barn! The most amazing views and sunset over the countryside. Stayed with a small dog and toddler and we had the best time meeting all the animals.

We hosted a work conference at Somerton Barn, it was the perfect location. Graham & Judy were very helpful and hospitable. A fantastic event and stay. We hope to do it again very soon.
