Currabubula Pub

First time at this pub over the past weekend. What a breath of fresh air! This pub has a classic menu with a classy twist to it. Generous meals. Gluten free options. Friendly staff. Well-stocked bar with a wide range offering. Definetly can recommend!

I had an amazing weekend out there with my partner, we enjoyed a delicious meal with a gorgeous view. Even managed to get in a few games of pool. Will definitely visit again!

We stopped in here to get the kids out of the car and have something to eat before another 2.5 hours driving. It was a very pleasant surprise! We didn’t have big expectations as it was mostly about just getting the kids something for lunch, but the service was excellent, the meals absolutely delicious and the Al fresco area out the back was gorgeous! They also had a fenced play area for the little ones and a huge grassed area where the kids could run and burn off energy.
They had really great vegetarian and vegan options plus the usual fare to satisfy carnivores with huge servings. Would definitely recommend popping in for a visit!

Stopped in at the Currabubula Pub for a meal and some drinks and was greeted by the friendliest staff. The Pub had a great atmosphere with music and a crackling fire. The new owners Dylan & Chloe are doing a fantastic job of brining new life to the place whilst still keeping the historic nostalgia. Great job guys we will definitely be back!

this place is great service was great food was great location is amazing and the old building is beautiful. if you stop in and get a feed sit out the back and the view is great.

Great dinner. Amazing value for money. Got the lamb shank special and the mixed grill. Stayed the night at the hotel. Nice clean room with an electric blanket and the owner gave us a heater as it was go i ng to get below zero at night. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Would stay again

Stopped in at Currabubula pub on our way to Tamworth. Good size schnitzel and t-bone with tail on, we both thoroughly enjoyed the diane sauce and the salted caramel gelato. Considering it was NYE the service was friendly and quick. Great view from the outside deck and a kids playground.

Old on tap ! A lovely drop . Very pleasant stop with plenty of parking, plenty of space for the kids to run around. Stay in the bar next to the fire or venture out on the back deck and enjoy the view .
Very tasty and delicious meals in the restaurant or you can take away .

Had the pleasure of meeting the Mother of one of the owners. While I haven't been there in person yet, the description I received of the changes made to the Currabubula Pub under new management are incredible. Top quality, good sized meals, fantastic renovations, and an atmosphere to invite anything from a lonely traveller, to a family in need of a good outing experience, to a staunch regular loyal to the pub.
I'm looking forward to finally getting there to see it for myself. A true Aussie pub run by those with a passion for an Aussie tradition.

We visited the Currabubula Pub for a meal and some drinks awhiole holidaying in the region (we live in France) and were greeted by the friendly staff. Great atmosphere with music and a crackling fire. fantastic place with the historic nostalgia. wish we we could come bacxk tomorrow - but hey, the other side of the world. Well worth your visit

I stayed with an old Army mate in Curra for a couple of nights, and we went for dinner here the first night. The steak, chips and salad I had was a beauty. Cooked perfectly (medium rare - the way all good steaks should be cooked! 😉 Friendly staff and the place is much bigger than you may initially think, until you go inside. A great spot out the back for a quiet drink and a chat as well. Cheers!

Stopped for a feed with the wife. Ordered the mixed grill for two, and OMG! An enormous serve, 4 fat snags, 6 chicken wings, two steaks, two ribs, 3 lamb cutlets, about a kilo of chips, onion rings, Diane sauce, ranch dip and a spicy dip! Everything was amazing... quality meat, cooked to perfection. We couldn't finish and ended up getting a doggy bag. Lunch tomorrow is sorted. Could not recomend it enough. Do yourself a favour and check this out.
Great place for a feed or just a drink.
If you order this mixed grill, bring some mates to help ya and wear your stretchy pants. 10/10.

Have been to Curra pub for dinner about 10 times, the food is amazing never had a bad meal well priced, highly recommend.

Great little pub with good food and a good selection on the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful.

What a pleasant surprise it was to be greeted by the new owners an even bigger surprise was our meals. Wife had fish and chips and I had the rissoles and veg, both meals were top notch. Best of luck with your new venture👍👍👍

A unique building to dine in, an Inn from the 1850's. Food was fresh and delicious and worth it for the price. Average main meal cost is about $28 but you won't leave hungry. A modern verandah out the back opens to a gorgeous country side view. Definately a must visit
