The location is amazing!
The ground is extensive and there’s a lot of features to explore and enjoy.
The cafe is nice; cosy and a beautiful outdoor setting. I found the staff to be frantic and customer service could have been a little better.

Overall I really enjoyed the time with my family.
Great place for families and outdoor entertainment, bbq and picnic.

The food was amazing it was fresh, flavoursome and the wines complimented the dishes. The chef should be commended along with the great staff service. I visited with a friend whose a chef from the Sunshine Coast and we were delighted. And the gardens just topped off the experience

Wonderful lunch with friends in the garden cafe on a cold rainy Winter's day. The heaters were on and the blankets and cushions provided made for a comfy, warm experience. Spoiled for choice on the menu. The Osso Bucco won out as perfect for the weather. It was delicious!!!! Such a generous serving meant I also took home in a container what I could not eat to enjoy for lunch the next day. The staff were welcoming and made sure we had the best time - excellent service with a smile and we enjoyed a few laughs with them. Such a shame I did not have room for dessert. Will just have to go back another day. Thank you for a lovely visit on my first time there.

I organised my mum's 70th birthday at Carrick Hill Cafe last weekend. We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The booking was for 26 people so we chose the banquet option. We have a tricky group in that half of us love meat, the other half are vegetarian. The staff worked with us to find a good mix of dishes to keep everyone happy. It was a rainy day so we were in the marquee with the heaters on, it was cosy and still a beautiful setting. The staff kept everyone's glasses topped up, and were very patient with our group whose ages ranges from 2 to 70+. We ended up staying for over 4 hours, the kids went for a few walks through the gardens while we sat and ate and drank! Beautiful food, stunning setting, really friendly service.

What a wonderful day spent at Carrick Hill following the storybook path and soaking up the beauty of the surrounds. We enjoyed the most delicious tantalising lunch at the cafe. A wonderful combination of flavours and presentation of the dishes!

Peaceful to sit outside in the shade and have a relaxed meal. It is designed as a place where you can talk with friends for a few hours. You can get cheaper elsewhere but not with this atmosphere. You can bring your dogs.

Beautiful cafe. A lovely spot to come for a coffee and cake, or a meal, or a special event as I did. Highly recommend.

I was one of a gardening group of 10 from the Adelaide Hills. We visited the Carrick Hill Cafe at the end of our visit to the house and garden. The scones were amazing and enjoyed by all who had them. I had a small almond and orange cake and it was delicious. My coffee was excellent as were the other drinks and the gellata. The cost was reasonable for the quality. Thank you to Amy and your team.

For starters we ordered pate with brioche toasted bread and Hummus and Carrot dip with toasted sour dough bread. The dips were very flavoursome but the pate was one of the best I have ever tasted. Both dishes were elegantly presented. Perhaps vegetable batons could have been a welcome accompaniment to the dip platter.
For mains we ordered the Parmasean and parsley crusted King George whiting with an Olive, parsley and lemon salad as well as the Osso Buco with Parsip cake. The highlight of the whiting dish was the very tasty crust and the tiny bits of lemon in that sesational salad. The Osso buco was cooked to perfection and the Parsip cake was crunchy, tasty and very morish. We finished our meal off with coffee and home made scones with Jam and cream. The service staff were welcoming, friendly and very timely. The views from our table were spectacular. I highly recommend visiting the Carrick Hill Cafe for a mouth watering experience.
