Alcoholics Anonymous

AA has saved my life.

Through getting a sponsor, homegroup and working the 12steps outlined in the AA literature I have stayed sober one day at a time, through not having that first drink which does all the damage.

The obsession to drink has left me and my life has never been so fulfilled, meaningful & happy.
I would urge anyone who has a desire to stop drinking / cannot control their drinking to attend their first meeting with an open mind & willingness only alcohol can give you after trying countless vein attempts to stop on your own and continually being beaten down.

There is courage in venerability and asking for help and people out there who will welcome you with open hearts as they have shared your struggle and come out the other-side through working this program of action.

You can’t think your way into healthy living, you need to live your way into healthy thinking.. Look for the similarities not the differences ❤

I have met people who have found Alcoholic Anonymous to have being helpful.
