Port Elliot Beach

Beautiful town with nice dog friendly (on leash) beach. Parking can be hard on a sunny (like any other beaches). Good little playground/picnic area/BBQ under shade.

Beautiful town. Amazing beach. There is a nice trail to do along the coast.

The South Coast of SA has its own mini- Bondi Beach- all the natural beauty of a beautiful bay without the hype, high rise and hoards of people. An egg & bacon roll at the Flying Fish Cafe completes the "heaps good" SA experience . Essential visiting for interstate visitors as SA people have been taught the secret of this magical play place since birth.

Beautiful beach and there are always so few people. The swing is a huge bonus so we'll always have a go whenever we visit. You can also go on a walk on the cliff tops to the east side and discover more beaches further along too.

Great beach, plenty of parking space. If driving via crows nest road dont forget to stop at the lookout point for a breathtaking view.
Youll also see heaps of sheep and alpacas there too.

A quiet and beautiful vacation beach. There are RV campsites nearby, as well as many hotels and restaurants.

Great place for a holiday. Plenty of history. Beach is ok but not good for younger children as it's big surf.

Beautiful white, soft sands. The water looked clear too and very quiet. Plenty of seats to enjoy the view and lots of places to park close to the beach.

Nice spot to sit after visiting Port Elliot Bakery for the Donut of the Month. I'd go anywhere for an ocean view but this beach comes with a fantastic bonus of a Bakery 🙂🦋

Beautiful beach...hike uphill and you can find different parts of the beach,massive rocks,coves,Beautiful scenery ....opportunities for swimming,surfing,kayaking,boating etc.....absolutely stunning location...

We discovered covered picnic tables on a green grassed area next to the caravan park, called Commodore Park. The park also has 4 interesting signs telling the story of the shipwrecks in the bay. We also saw dolphins swimming in the bay!

I love Port Elliott SA. Beautiful places for holiday, quite and relaxing, different and exciting beaches. Full of life.

We have been to this beach several times, not too much surf but not too flat, perfect for families and dogs, great for body surfing. Clean sand and waves, a must if you're in these parts of South Australia

Great spot for the family and a very nice little town.

Favourite beach. Grassed areas and showers lead down to the beach. Beach is always stunning and safe. Often has seaweed, but that's nature. Good for boogie boarding and can see parts of the shipwreck on extremely calm days. Can
walk to Port Elliot bakery (a must) and bottle shop from here. Flying fish cafe isnt something I would rate highly, but worth the walk from the far end for an ice-cream. There is a nice lawn and tree area down by the surf club and a great jetty. Walking around the rocks in summer to watch the sunset is a must
