Westbourne Park Psychology

Joanne is very warm and friendly, I felt an immediate connection and very comfortable talking to her. She listened carefully and showed heartfelt concerns about the issues I was sharing and needed support with.

I highly recommend this practice for their professionalism and skills , they are very caring and have a personable approach. Being a foreigner with no family here and COVID pandemic ,my psychologist has been very supportive and given good guidance.

Positive experience and would recommend

This would have to be the worst psychology practice in Adelaide. They do not care about your mental health, if they did, they would return calls and show empathy to patients. Avoid.

Was recommended to a different psychology place by my doctor but they were booked for the next 6 months, so was referred here.
Ended up doing 4 sessions here and was extremely disappointed. Was unprofessional and a really bad experience. Told me in one of the sessions that we didn’t have anything more to talk about and that I didn’t need anymore sessions, despite not actually asking for my input on that. Was also extremely dismissive in sessions. Cancelled the remainder of my sessions and when I requested my record from my doctor, the note from the psychologist said they were unsure of why I’d cancelled my remaining sessions.
Would never come back here. Was a massive waste of time and money, so many other businesses that aren’t purely focused on monetary gains and actually provide a benefit to the client.

Sadly this place is more concerned about money than a persons mental health. After having my dad bleed to death in front of me and asking to reschedule a appointment due to illness i was still charged $100. Attempted to call multiple times but only reached message bank. A customer is also charged close to $150 out of pocket already ontop of the mental health plan rebate.

The Phycologist i spoke to twice was very professional but unfortunately the business is more focused on making money than assistance.

Very disappointed and at a time i was really looking for help. I will be telling my GP and others to avoid this facility.
