The best birthday lunch I had. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection, well seasoned mashed (both on the chicken and banger) and the sauce was to die for.

If you sit outside, at the back of the hotel, you can get a good view of the Cockle Train 🚂

My steak was perfectly cooked, tasty, tender and the plate loaded with piping hot chips - too good! Ice cold draft beer with friendly service and plenty of spaces to enjoy a quiet meal, socialise in a bigger group, dine solo or enjoy the fresh air outside

We’ve been coming to Port Elliot for decades and having meals at the Port Elliot Hotel. It goes through ups and downs. We had a meal at the PEH on Friday night and it was so great we came back Sat night. Key up: friendly attentive staff. Great “pub food” and a great wine list. Well done Port Elliot Hotel (& shout out to Stella, one of the excellent wait staff).

Pet Friendly outside area can bring fur babies.The staff is very Friendly. The meals are very nice. Great location. Menu selection good.

Lovely place for lunch. Chicken and Vegan Parmigianas were amazing as well as the Strawberry Daiquiri! Dogs also welcomed in the garden/bar area which is great 😀 10/10

Wonderful place. Nice outdoor area. Allows dogs which is great to see. They had an acoustic player and it was so lovely to hear whilst eating our lunch.

Fabulous food and great service. Lovely gem in a picturesque location. Very affordable.

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon, with great food, wine & live music in the beer garden. It was great to see young children & dogs making it a very family friendly location. Staff were excptionally helpful & friendly.

I just wanted to give u guys a shout out. I was lucky enough to have a milestone function at your venue (Salt). All I can say is THANK YOU it was amazing.

From the time I sent you a msg via your webpage Jo was straight onto it and whatever challenge / query I threw at her was answered without fuss. I looked at a number of venues in the area to host my bday I’m glad I chose u (actually it was a no brainer).

Food was amazing (we went with a pizza and platters option) and the drinks didnt run out 😂. The venue was outstanding, comfortably fitting the guests.

We made a weekend of it and stayed at the caravan park.

Thanks again and I highly recommend you venue to people thinking of hosting a party on the Fleurieu x

Had the most delicious meal - divine wedges, Wagyu steak that melted in my mouth, delicious jus and veggies. Hubby had salt n pepper calamari which was so tender. Service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Photos taken half way thru, sorry lol

Loved the food here, The steak was just perfect and came with a delicious salad too. The pavlova was made on premises and was great. . The staff were very nice too.

Went here for my birthday lunch while we stayed at Lost Retreats - I legit look back at this photo to re-live how AMAZING the food was. I only eat steak from a select few places - this is one of those places.

Fast service and great food. Portions were very reasonable. I enjoyed the Kangaroo and Pork Belly bites.

Food is simple no complaints ok prices, service had a few hiccups but sort of got there in the end. Old pub with nothing exciting that will have us return in a hurry
