Best fish and chips in Australia. We had the cod, flathead, and scallops crumbed. The chips were magic, not oily, probably the best we've ever eaten. Come and support these guys. The atmosphere is amazing, and when you see how flat out they are, you know you're in for a treat. Also, the salads are yummy. We had the 3 bean salad, light dressing.

Best Fish and Chip shop in Adelaide by far.

The staff are always super friendly and helpful (we once came after a monthly special had finished but they were more than happy to make it for us still).

The food is excellent, all fish is super fresh and tasty, plentiful servings of chips, the monthly specials we've had have always been super tasty, and they're one of very few in Adelaide to offer curry sauce! They definitely honour the British roots of fish and chip shops.

Would highly recommend to anyone, even those not in the area. We make the hour round trip when we can and never regret it!

Phenomenal Chicken Burger and Hamburger with the lot. Literally one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. We are from Victoria, but our family member who lives here shall be taking her kids here for dinner often. Hopefully the 5 star reviews continue.

There’s a reason they have won awards. I had chips, Philly cheesesteak and the Portuguese burger.

The chips were light, fluffy with the perfect crunch you could tel they had been cooked in fresh oil. Perfectly seasoned.

The cheesesteak was seasoned perfectly. Great flavour the bread toasted giving a nice crunch.

The Portuguese chicken burger is the shining star. The flavour is top tier.

Nothing but great service from the staff all have smiles while working in a fast paced tight environment.

They owner has obviously trained his team well and delivers every time

Fish is great! I love that you do gluten free fish like other fish!! Crumbed, battered, anything. Chips as always are AMAZING!! Service excellent! Excellent work by 2 young ladies on the cash register. (From memory I think it was Bonnie and Grace?)

Besides the best Burgers, chips & seafood in South Australia. This busy and innovative shop is Australian owned and operated and proudly supports the local community.
Friendly and great service plus the food is always fresh & tasty and burger of the month is definitely worth a try.

I was shown the fish before I made my choice. I chose Snack size chips which is pretty large. Very friendly staff. 7 stars

March Burger of the Month. Absolutely amazing, 110 percent the best thing on the menu. Mouth watering Beef Brisket, along side with juicy pickles and waffle fries. This combo goes down like a snack!

Firstly the great customer service made it the best reason to come back again. Secondly the food was very good, from the burger, the fish, the chips, potato cakes, Crab stick, crumbed sausage and so on. However personally the chips the last time was very salty compared to normal and even though you were voted number 1 I prefer chicken chef chips much more. Your Portuguese chicken burger is definately the best burger I have ate on the south side of Adelaide. Keep up the great work and I look forward to my next visit soon.

Great fish and chip shop that does heaps more. Great gluten free options (I come for the nuggies) and a large selection of salads and wraps. I think there's something for everyone here! (Pictured is their steak wrap and giant serve of sweet potato chips)

Best fish and shop ever, always super fresh, amazing salads, orders always on time per advised wait.
Only sticking point is your falafels are awful, please find a new supplier! I was very surprised given the quality of everything else you make is top notch!

SOOOO many GF options for those that needs them, neednt feel like a leper amongst your friends. And the GF options are great. Can get busy. Prices pretty normal. Some seating, and can be fun to just hang for a while and eat while fresh. Street parking can be a bit painful as per a lot of King William, but worth it. Some adventurous burger specials to try changing on a regular basis.

Had the sandwich/burger of the month which was Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. A snack side of sweet potato fries which was really crispy till the end. We also order a fried barramundi which was huge. A must try for fish and chip lovers 😋

The BEST gluten free take out we’ve had. They are all so kind and amazing under pressure! We will keep coming back.

Had a piece of battered flake and a serve of sweet potato chips. Both were excellent, and the only issue is that I ordered too much! The bloke behind the counter is one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet, and offered excellent customer service as well.

The only complaint I would have is that there's not a lot of space to stand around and wait for your food without standing outside. That may or may not be a problem, based on the weather. Given the size shop they've got, they do an excellent job. I'll be going back there soon!

Another awesome meal at FOOW!! Thank you so much everything is always really tasty and beautifully cooked. The battered fish is perfect not thick and oily like some places. Thin crispy delicious. Great chips and a huge variety of great salads. Friendly smiling service too. We'll be back again and again 😊👍
