Chambord Restaurant and Bar

Unassuming restaurant turns out the food is superb. I had braised lamb curry which is interestingly presented. Loved the curry base, lamb cut and topping of fried green leaves. Lamb is beautifully cooked to tender texture. Loved the passion of owner (I guessed) too. A huge tick. There is also live music on a Thursday night.

The staff was so diligent. The place is beautiful, with enough space for everyone. The chocolota Eclair was delicious, cappuccino average quality and the egg Benedit were super tasty. I will comeback.

We stayed in the Chancellor on Currie for 7 nights and breakfast was included in the Chambord Restaurant. This business is only a few months young and the owner Luke, is providing a pleasant atmosphere and the breakfast options available to were more than adequate. I particulary enjoyed the Bircher Muesli. Hubby enjoyed his French Toast. Bacon & Egg servings were very satisfying Our itinerary prevented us from dining for dinner, but we did indulge in a happy hour. Also, 2 of the staff, (Angelo & Ash) deserve recognition as their service and interaction made our visits a bit of fun. Highly recommend Chambord Restaurant. Hope it gets supported and we look forward to returning in the future.

Just finished a delicious breakfast. So relaxing to be in a restaurant that doesn't have rock music blaring but rathet soft jazz. Thoroughly enjoyed Chambord. We will be back!

Really appreciated the wonderful warm staff service. Breakfast was amazing! Eggs Benedict with the house cured Gravlax - just divine. What a difference the new management team has made !

Hi Guys

With my business I travel the country and Asia and as such eat out a lot
(no good for the waist line) have been in Adelaide for a few days with my my and stayed at the Grand Chancellor while in the city
We do not normally eat in the hotel restaurant but tried Chambord as it was a new family owned business and just opened up so we thought give it a try service was great and food was spot on for price and quality
Guys give them a go 95% of you will be very happy 5 % will never be happy so will not please them

Hubby and I had delicious dinner here on Friday night. All staff are very friendly, nice atmosphere, clean dining area and very presentable. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic customer service and great food, you cannot go wrong at this place!

Skip Breakfast. No butter on toast, no offer of salt or pepper, missing items of food of order. Added on babychino when it was offered to child ( kids will say yes to anything) and not ordered. They did correct this when i complained, but still not worth the price. Food was ok, service was with a smile but lacked the finer details needed details to charge these prices for breakfast.

Think the previous reviewers went to another place. Had dinner here last week & waited over an hour for a mediocre steak with mushroom yes 1/2 a mushroom. Staff were dismissive bordering on rude.
