Thunderbolts Way Cafe

Called through early this morning just before 7am and the ladies friendly, speedy service was fabulous. & much appreciated. We enjoyed a yummy bacon & egg roll with delicious hot coffee & savoured every mouthful while soaking up the sunshine outside, watching the world go by on the Oxley Hwy. Great stopover. 👍

This is one of the friendliest cafes we visit when travelling thru Walcha. Staff are very obliging and friendly. Potato Scallops the best

Had a friend shout us a burger from this joint.
Do you remember as a kid going to that corner store and getting the best tasting burger you could try? Well, they nailed it! The buns were buttered, the meat patty was actual meat, not those rissole patties that some places try to palm off as a 'meat' patty, the sauce was the perfect portion, it was enough to combine the flavours with each delicious mouthful and not swimming in sauce to cover up a cheap effort.
It was delectable!
Next time, I am going to try the pizza's, the aromas were a tease to the nose.

Loved our multiple visits to this cafe over the busy Walcha Bike Rally weekend. Cindy and her team were welcoming and served up great food and coffee. Thankyou - we will be back 👍

Great Coffee, delicious apple cake, friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean toilets in the park across the road.

Great old style burgers with first class staff. I handed them what I thought was $20 but the staff women told me that it was 2 $20 stuck together. Seriously for that honesty she deserves a gold medal. 5 stars for her and 5 stars for the beautiful food.

We called in here today and was served by a lovely young lady. We were pleasantly impressed by how clean the town was. We would be happy to recommend this cafe to anyone.

Great friendly service, only stopped for a milkshake, but it was one of the creamiest and tastiest milkshakes I've had anywhere, let alone a takeaway shop.

Okay, it may just be a country town take away, but most of them are beyond gross... These guys are the exception to the rule, so don't be afraid. Bonus, they're open when everyone else is closed!!
