Sui Restaurant

We enjoyed a lot of small dishes so that we could try a bit of everything. Everything was delicious and very well presented. Only reason we give 4.5 stars instead of 5 was because the calamari skewers were a bit too tough in one of the dishes. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Excellent services from staff both front and back; they were able to adjust the menu to suit customer's dietary restriction/requirement, on top of being versed in the differences between vegan, vegetarian sans allium etc
Food look and taste great too!

Our first time going to Sui after hearing about the place from our friends. Definitely did not disappoint! The food was really good and the portion were generous. We ordered sweet chilly fried fish, pork belly, taro duck, tofu and nestum prawns. The Taro Duck was the highlight of the night as it was outstanding.

Service was pretty quick too considering that the place was crowded when we walked in. Staff were extremely friendly. Will definitely visit Sui again to try out their other dishes.

This is countless time I came back to SUI for the taro duck 🦆, it’s so crispy and juicy on the side of the meat 🥩 with a sweet and soft side of taro fillings it’s amazing 🤩 you have to try it😭it’s one of my fav dish in Adelaide, the tofu with seafood or crabs 🦀 is also amazing, it taste very thick but surprisingly soft, the milkshake it’s very yummy as well, the other milk tea which I like it more but I couldn’t wait so I ruined the photo🤣🤣🤣it’s definitely worth to try!!!

Everytime I come here the food has been amazing, I love coming back to try new dishes. And I recommend this place to my friends.

Recently had the CNY banquet (4-6 persons) and all the dishes were delicious !

Also on top of the banquet I specially ordered the Singapore Chilli crab which I think is the best in Adelaide ! Has a delicious chilli, tomato-y umami flavour. The thick sauce was the best mopped up with fried bao buns. The mud crab was fresh, meaty and delicious.

Other standout dishes are the taro duck (moist taro) and a tasty and seasoned duck. Steamed fish was excellent (can’t go wrong ).

Pork belly baos, the pork was sooo soft and tender. And beef brisket was amazingly soft as well.

The fried frying noodles with prawn is theatrical and crispy, but needed a bit more flavour.

Had a satisfying dinner. They have a Malaysian chef who does Malaysian dishes for lunch menu. And a Taiwanese Chef who cooks the dinner menu so it has so much variety you have to come back at least twice or more.

Service is friendly and great !

Most traditional authentic Malaysian Taiwanese food i tried. I came here to their banquet with my foodie friends and it is amazing but you can't cancelled because it's already made for the banquet. Food here is really good did not regret it.

Great food. Enjoyed it very much. Ordered crispy duck with wrap, salted egg pumpkin, double fried pork and wasabi king prawn. All highly recommended. The best thing is refillable tea and steamed rice. Will definitely come again.

Excellent food and service. Taiwanese chef with very authentic cuisine. Great to find a local option with fabulous food including gluten free option. Generous portion size. We ordered sweet and sour pork amongst others which was traditional Cantonese style. Highly recommend.

Dinner at @sui.restaurant a little while ago: pretty good Chinese food! Can't complain much 🙂.

Taro duck: perfectly done duck with fried taro. Super yummy dish without being too greasy. Nice flavours!

Salted fish and chicken fried rice: a classic dish that almost always tastes great. They certainly make a good one!

Sweet and sour pork: unashamedly one of my favourite dishes 😅😅. I just love it! They do a pretty good version of it 🙂.

Spinach with soup and egg: decent

Amazing. We went to try on a Saturday lunch at 12noon. We regret we did not come earlier as we heard a lot of hype about it. It definitely live up to it. We ordered the Sarawak Laksa and FooChow noodle. Taste is on point, we love it. The Teh C special is amazing. Would definitely come back to try other dishes. Be warned, the serving portion is huge! But we finished it as a testament how good the food is. Really authentic and the best Malaysian restaurant in town.

I just would like to thank the waitress today for her great attention to detail and went the extra mile to serve us with a smile and from her heart. She offered a pair of scissors without me asking so that I could cut the noodles for my baby and she also rushed to the door to hand me my forgotten item which I had placed on the table. I also noticed that they had also placed a bin bag under baby's high chair in case baby makes a mess which is a great idea. Thanks for having us today. I enjoyed the wat tan hor :)

The food:
Exceptional quality food and very extensive menu full of authentic Chinese dishes including a very good lunch menu. We ordered Char kuay teow, salted egg yolk pumpkin, sweet and sour pork, crispy taro duck and tofu with crabroe and seafood. All were outstanding. The pumpkin was beautifully crispy without being greasy, and the crispy rice vermicelli that garnished the sweet and sour pork was freshly deep fried and not stale like in many restaurants. The tofu was the only dish that we would not order again because it did not taste like it had any seafood or crabroe, although still nice.

The ambience:
The tables are not too close to each other, the dining room is moderately sized, so you still enjoy sime decent privacy.

The service:
Very efficient, the dishes came out fast, and lovely thoughtful touches such as complimentary freshly deep fried prawn chips, elegantly designed teacups and individual pots of tea.

The food was amazing， we ordered stir fry Kway Teow n Vermicelli on their lunch menu， very authentic as well as teh tarik was highly recommended.
Wide range of food options on the dinner menu， will be back to try out more for sure.

We visited on Christmas Day, and even amidst the bustling crowd, the food maintained its remarkable quality—consistent with our previous experiences here. The staff was both friendly and attentive to all patrons. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. We look forward to returning soon!

The best Chinese restaurant in Adelaide!!
Great atmosphere, amazing and friendly staff and most importantly, delicious food 😁I cannot believe I haven’t left a review for this place already after being here three times😅Egg plant dish, sweet & sour pork, taro duck, Fish fillet and all other dishes 😘😘

Absolutely pleased with the staff and service at Sui Restaurant! We went there for lunch some months ago and was given a table without a reservation. We wanted to order the boneless roast duck (as it was easier for my kids - but did not tell the waitress at the time) but was told that was only available for dinner. We ordered the (normal) roast duck instead but the waitress came back out and said the chef was going to make it boneless as he saw we had kids dining with us.

With my next order of Dry Tossed Noodle with Roast Duck, the waitress came out again to advise that the noodle is tossed in lard (which she knew I cannot have) so the chef will change and toss it in shallot oil instead. I was pleasantly surprised by such attention and it is definitely a testament to Malaysian hospitality!

So happy to get the taste the wonderful food here which very much reminds me of home. Much recommended and thank you again to the staff and chef!

Dedicated owner, delicious food and good service.
The best Taiwanese style beef noodles I have ever had in Australia. If you love Taiwanese beef noodles you must try it. We also ordered Gua bao and it was so yummy.
The owner is very dedicated to quality. The restaurant is very clean and they change paper table cloths after meal.

Friendly attentive staff. Best Sarawak Laksa we have had to date. Very generous serving. Highly Recommend
