Apsley Arms Hotel

Stopped for lunch on our long drive home. I had a burger and my husband had the chicken Parma. Both were very delicious and well presented. The staff came over and made sure our meals were satisfactory. Great service, great food. Thank you!

I recently had lunch at the Apsley Arms Hotel and had a delightful experience. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Nepali momo. These dumplings were flavorful and cooked to perfection, reminding me of the authentic taste of home. The service was prompt and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Nepali momo if you visit. Apsley Arms Hotel is a great place to enjoy a good meal with excellent hospitality.

Mother's Day 2024 I was taken out on this day to a place i have never been to before Its hidden away in a town called Walcha about 2 1/2 hours away from Port Macquarie, when we arrived at this location and entered the establishment, we were greeted by friendly staff after a friendly chat the staff seated us took our order the service was 100% food cooked to perfection After all was over the staff still went out of their way to serve I advise any traveling the Oxley Hwy/B56 to stop and take a rest along with a bit to eat at the Apsley Arms Hotel I would rate this place 5Stars.

We stayed here for the Walcha Cup weekend. We were all extremely happy with every aspect of the accommodation. The rooms were clean. The shower had good pressure and the kitchen was great. We can't wait to come back again

Food was so yummy and delicious and the owner was so kind and attentive. Will definitely be coming back on our next travels.

We had to arrive quite late for our overnight stay but the team was so lovely and accomodating! The room was perfectly clean and cosy. The town is so cute and beautiful in autumn! Would Recommend!

Absolutely loved staying here! The owners are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable (nice and warm in the winter), the house beer is awesome, but the best part is the chef. ‘Cookie’ makes the BEST food. We tried the popcorn prawns, ribs, the Nepalese chicken curry, pizza and Nepalese rice pudding - all of which were really tasty and great value for money. Would 100% recommend staying here, and we will be back.

We had lunch at the Apsley yesterday and were blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly service. Truly Amazing! We'll be back for more warm marinated olives, oh and the pepper sauce. Sensational flavours! Wonderful service too! Thank you!

We had dinner there on a very cold night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and offered us a table beside the fire which was very appreciated and very enjoyable. The food was great so would definitely recommend this place.

We popped in for a late lunch and were blown away by the super friendly welcome from staff. The manager owner made us feel like friends from the start and we shared memories of Nepal with him as well as enjoying the niche offerings of Nepalis food which was delicious. We saw plates of chips and huge steaks go by so true Aussie pub food looked great too.

Ordered the Chicken Carbonara , husband the Chicken Parmigiana. Wow ! Both meals were delicious and generous in size . My carbonara was one of the nicest I've ever eaten . Customer service was exceptional and their drink prices were cheaper than most places . Left the cold outside and ate by the warmth of the fire . Big 👍from us .

We passed through on New Years Eve and had great friendly service and nice food! Good place to hang out to escape the cold weather.

Had dinner here tonight as we were staying one night in Walcha, passing through on a work trip. I can't recommend this hotel enough! The service is warm and friendly, and the food and wine were divine. We will be back!

We’ve eaten here several times. We can highly recommend the pasta, the burgers and parmy. Tasty food, great beer and friendly service!

Had the best night at the Apsley Arms Hotel- service is 5 star - if you are after a great night with attentive service that goes above and beyond make sure you stop here for a night. Motor bike friendly with lock up garage - will definitely be back.

Excellent old Aussie pub. Has plenty of clean rooms to stay in & a secure lockup area for cars & bikes. Excellent choice of lunch specials & dinners including authentic Nepalese food. Had the rump before and now a pizza. Both were tasty and hot. Superb location in town. Try the Apsley Arms Ale, a beer made especially for the hotel😎Loved my time at this pub!
