Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club

We visited on a relatively quiet Spring day despite school holidays. There are rockpools common to the coastline in this part of Victoria. If the tide is low, you can traverse across to Surf Beach 2, which also comes up at Cape Paterson Coastal Reserve in Google Maps. There is a mobile loo currently as the main toilets were vandalised. We had lovely sardine sandwiches and Cheezels on the solitary picnic table and bench. The beach is dog friendly so watch out for poo litter. Access to beach is much easier than beach no. 2, which does not have a proper walkway to the beach.

Such a fancy (and large) building compared to the old club house! And this one includes a small kiosk where you can buy coffee and snacks. Hats off to you for the great community service you provide.

Beautiful venue, can hire the upstairs function room and take in a amazing views, may even see whales! After 4pm they let the public in, check out the menue and bar drinks available. I will deff be returning, bookings essential as this is a popular venue

Great beach, a bit busy but plenty of space and parking. Awesome to have amenities so close work food and drinks too.

In my opinion one of the best beaches I’ve ever seen. Amazing waves, very friendly people. I could not recommend this enough!

Spent Chistmas there back in the 1970's as a kid, and loved it! Brings back wonderful memories! The new Surf Life Saving Club looks awesome, and badly needed to replace the old one. 10 out of 10!!!! 👍😁

Very nice place to come for wine and a cheese board of an afternoon. Local beers, wines and spirits.
