A short and easy walk to Ferntree Falls from the carpark. The rainfall through November has given the falls a great flow of water. If you don't mind going a bit further, the walk up to Cascade Falls has great views of the water flowing down through the ferns, and each section is different to the last. Definitely worth the short hike to the top.

Private, spacious, picturesque camp grounds. We stayed 2 nights and were very comfortable. Picnic table and camp stove/fire works a charm.

No reception and you will need to bring your own firewood. Non flush toilets but stocked with toilet paper.

Amazing waterfall hike just a few steps from the toilets.

Will definitely go back!

We visited purely to see Ferntree Falls and we weren't disappointed. The falls are beautiful (the extra rainfall during July probably helped) and located within a reasonable walk from the carpark for children (aged 5 and 9). The dog-leg walk to the top of the cascades is little more than a dinky goat-track and proved perilous when wet underfoot and we had to turn back. The 45min circuit enables you to get very close to the falls and experience it from different levels. There are basic toilet facilities at the car park but no running water. If you love waterfalls it's worth a visit!

Best experience camping here over the New Year weekend. There was a wonderful waterfall to cool down in during the heat, also. Definitely coming back here.

Amazing little-known spot that offers secluded, spacious campgrounds, each with their own fireplace and table. Very short walk to water falls.

I stayed two nights over new years eve. There are only 5 campsites in total each in its own separate area so privacy is great. Toilets are located in the picnic area a minute or two walk away. Tap with running water is also available but not for drinking.

There is some lovely wild life, an abundance of birds and we saw a few wallabies in the area.

There is also a lovely waterfall and hiking tracks to suit a range of skill levels. I did the Sugarloaf saddle circuit. Signs advise it's a 3h45m return trip, moderate to hard difficultly. Be advised this is not accurate! It took us 7 hours, the track is not maintained and overgrown so you will need a compass or navigator. Some parts are very steep and require a high level of fitness and good shoes. It's for experienced hikers only. **

Overall a lovely and less visited campsite would recommend.

Very easy to navigate, signs everywhere asking if you have a camping booking. We arrived Thursday night only 2 other campers we seen. Ferntree Falls were pretty nice. Nothing spectacular but worth the 5 min walk

Nice, quite, peaceful place, when Wify kick you out from the home, take your belongings and experience to live in bush. Wonderful little hidden Gem. Best part no network so no one going to chase you.
Enjoy the Forest life 👌👌💁🏻‍♂💁🏻‍♂😇🌞🏞
