Commercial Hotel

5 of us on motorbikes stayed here and we all could not have been happier. From the minute we arrived we were greeted with a smile and our bikes were locked away in a shed.
Rooms were warm, clean and very tidy.
Beers were cold, and the meals were absolutely brilliant. The service given to us by staff and management was outstanding. Other hospitality businesses could learn a lot from Christian and his staff.
I would HIGHLY recommend this venue.
I will be back.

Had a much better experience at this pub, great service and awesome atmosphere. Delicious food. Would highly recommend, shame we couldn’t get accommodation as they were fully booked. But will be back!

I came across this little gem whilst in the area for work. A fantastic pub. Food excellent, staff extremely nice, and pub rooms are clean and tidy. Great t-bone steak👍

Awesome service with awesome food. Great feel about the whole place. We wish we had stayed here instead of others. No wonder the locals recommend the place.

Can't speak for the rooms but dropped in for lunch which was delicious in a great restaurant atmosphere, nice decor and friendly service. Will visit again.

A surprise find in a beautiful country location, awesome affordable food,best spot for travellers.

Stopped in for a meal. Best steak I have had for a while. Chilly cold outside. Inside was nice and warm, a couple of wood fire places making it cosy and warm. Lovely happy staff.

The food service at the Commercial was brilliant.....right price, great quality and quantity, and served quickly by pleasant courteous staff......we'll done Commercial

Can't comment on rooms but service is 5 star. Location is picturesque and over looking the nice country town of Walcha.
Having a nice cold beer on the veranda is definitely 5 star. All staff are friendly.

The meal......I ordered a rump steak and not only was it quick to serve but holy smokes the plate was absolutely loaded. Skip a meal before hand as you may struggle to get through the perfectly cooked meal.

Definitely such great service will recommend highly and we will return.

What a great meal our group of 25+ had here on Good Friday night. Good tucker and great, smiling service from the whole team. Compliments to the chef too! A good friendly atmosphere and we were all made to feel welcomed! Excellent and thank you.

Nice meals... great atmosphere

What a gem! We were 9 bikers, ordering a wide variety of meals and drinks, 2 nights in a row.... Everything was perfect! The portions are so generous, the quality excellent... BEST steaks we've had in a long time. Prawn linguine, superb! The parmi's were HUGE and delicious... Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic country pub with great atmosphere.
Rooms were quite, clean and beds more than comfortable.
The Publican, Christian, was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The food prepared by the chef and kitchen staff for dinner was excellent.
The barmaid Shay, was a delight behind the bar with faultless service and always with a smile.

We have been twice meals are 10/10 great service

The only letdown was the bathroom where one wasn't working and the other needed some real TLC

Very spacious room and super quiet

Publican & staff were really friendly & helpful. Had a T-bone steak in dining room which was cooked to a perfect 'medium' as ordered.
Stayed in room 3 which was large & comfy with an adjacent bathroom.
Overall great experience.... can definitely recommend this establishment .
