Bailes camp ground

A really good campaign site neat and clean.
It is ideal for stargazing.
Kookaburra and cockatoo will be your alarm clock to wake you up early in the morning.
But on the positive side, you will see Wallabies visiting you early morning and in the evening if you are lucky.

I too enjoyed this camp site, as the parent of the "accident prone " "howling kid" i suppose i should keep him at home and not take him camping in case he uspets anyone. The other campers didn't mind, rest assured we do not live there so the howling kid wont always be there. As for the scenery i hope that always stays. I will update you all when the howling kid is coming back so you can all stay away if you like.

Unlike Old mate Leigh I enjoyed the campsite, even shared the camp with him and the "howling kid". Maybe next time you share a camp come say hi instead of lurking in the shadows 🤔

There was only 1 other lot of campers during the first day but others turned up on second day. Coulda done without the young kid who seemed accident prone and howled frequently. Get enough of that around where I live! A kangaroo/wallaby/macropod hopped out the the background bush to graze not 8 metres from me until a sudden noise from the kid made Skippy bound off stage right. Later an echidna ambled on to centre stage and went off stage right up the same track that Skippy took. Very pleasant.

Beautiful grounds and great walking tracks.

Quiet campsite with some great walks of varying levels nearby. Bring drinking water, and firewood if you want to use the fireplaces

Great camping area and nice quiet. Took 4 hours walked to see Mt Buangor look out.

Absolutely beautiful place!

Lush green views with varied tracks. You can choose as per your level of fitness. We did cascade falls and fern tree falls with two kids and not hard. Car park at different locations, lots of picnic and fire spots. Can book campsite also. No phone service, so either print or save map pics and also there are map on information boards located in car parks.
