Very Challenging beach to fish. Lots of seaweed but lots of big fish. Very beautiful beach. Lots of surfers, Super nice wave. But careful, lots of rocks.

Love this rockpool beach. Easy access, it's soooo pretty here. It was winter, kids had their wetsuits to enjoy the play. We will definitely be back in the summer.

This small seaside town Perfect for all water enthusiasts who enjoy surfing, diving, sunbathing, kayaking or even fishing. walk on the beach See fossil rock caves Oh, there are many places to travel. Come in one round, everyone.

But the highlight of this place is the Rock pool that has many ponds. Oh, don't forget a beautiful swimsuit, a bikini, a prop for taking photos at the seaside at the same time.

Cape Paterson bay beach is a very unique beach in Victoria. It has two caves, one big and one small. Very nice beach, came here in the afternoon and it wasn’t too hot because it was windy. The eagle nest is another unique aspect of this place, definitely a great spot for photos. But an underrated aspect of this beach is its rocks, they come in all sorts of shapes and forms, very special. You can also find natural sea salt in rock holes on the beach.

Great place to holiday. Beautiful scenery and lovely walks on the beach. Be aware however, the surf can be a danger for even the well seasoned swimmer so be on your guard. Make sure you swim at one of the patrolled areas. Enjoy the rock pool at lowtide or just head to Andersons inlet for some less stressful fun with the kids.

We did the coastal drive and visited Cape Patterson. It a quaint little beach side village. The beaches are clean and beautiful. There are life savers here and is great beach for a swim but only between the flags.
If you like beach camping there are also parks that you can stay at too.

Worth a visit and highly recommend.

It is a great beach, patrolled, toilet, small park, but there is basically no parking...so you will probably have to park and walk a bit. What a gem of a place though. It's a great drive from Korumburra through Wonthaggi.

We visited Cape Paterson bay Beach and enjoyed it thoroughly, the rockpool is safe for kids above 10, as it is a bit deep but adults can enjoy it thoroughly.

There are swings, rock climbing location etc for kids. Surprisingly they have the best public washrooms i have seen at any beaches in Australia. Cleaned and maintained.

Great location for some amazing pictures and very close to eagles nest and Venus bay.

I am going again in December to beat the heat. 😊

One of my favourite beaches, Cape Paterson has rock pools, wild surf, clifftops, and tracks through the wilderness to enjoy nature.

Just a short walk down the slopes from the car park to access the beach, then lovely soft sand and safe swimming. The water is much warner than in Wales!

A beautiful safe ocean beach. Sheltered by a reef so the big oceans swells are not as powerful. Lovely rock pools to swim at low tide. Clean beach. Another top spot on Victoria’s ocean coast

Absolutely stunning beach - soft yellow sand, clear waters and rolling sand dunes. There is a patrolled section of the beach during certain parts of the year. Toilet access is available from at least two locations as well as BBQ facilities and playgrounds.
