Loved having my birthday dinner here. Beautiful food and atmosphere. I loved that the menu offers a good combination of comfort food as well as more experimental options. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I will be back for sure!

What a dining experience. Beautiful setting. The staff and food were amazing. They also catered for the vegetarian in our group. She was very impressed. The only down side is I didn’t have dessert. A big shout out to our waiter Nick. He was very attentive and gave great service. Will definitely go back .

The food was exceptional and beautifully presented.
Fabulous Service.. especially from Tamsyn. Very courteous and professional.
A small "hic-up" with my main course, was also very professionally handled by the gentleman at the pass.

Had the set chefs menu with wine pairings and wow!! The food was phenomenal! There were extra courses and just overall amazing flavours. The wine pairings were spot on. Highly recommend, they really love what they do and value great food.

Our work Christmas lunch was booked at The Plough today. Mark & Ruth were wonderfully hospitable. Could not fault the service or the meals. A variety of dishes were ordered, they all arrived at the same time and each staff member loved their choice. Thank you, we will be returning!

Went for dinner last night and chose the 5 course Chefs menu. Every single course was spectacular, and served by the chef himself. Drinks were always topped up with a smile, and when we left, the Chef had left me a gift of Salami chips, as I’d commented on how much I’d liked them. He even came out and grabbed us before we left to ask how we’d enjoyed the meal and what our favourite course was. Probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Will definitely return and bring others with me too. Thank you for such a fantastic meal, and for making it more than just dinner. My fiancé and I were extremely impressed.

What a gem! From the moment you arrive the lovely staff ensure you are welcome and comfortable. Food is beautifully presented and every dish I've ever had is absolutely delicious. Fabulous range of dishes and extensive wine collection. Such a lovely place.

Found this gem of a restaurant in the middle of a long drive from Glenrowan to Halls Gap with a wayward inbuilt navigator. Wonderful choice of food, deliciously cooked, friendly welcoming wait staff, spaciously and comfortablely laid out venue. Would give it more stars if I could. excellent!

My Mother had her 80th birthday family lunch here. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. The entire party enjoyed their meals, which were very well presented. Thank you very much.

Had such a lovely dinner tonight, such friendly and welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. My steak was great and I particularly loved the virgin cocktails, made with actual liquor but non alcoholic, so I can indulge in a cocktail even while pregnant! The Amaretti Sour was delicious!

The food is beautifully prepared and very tasty. I had Angus steak with slaw and chips. Chips were very, very good. Slaw was a huge improvement on the usual unimaginative bits of green- they had actually taken the time to add sun dried tomato and crunchy bits to it. Great service too. Loved it, and will go again

A hidden treasure with great food and wonderful service.

Friendly staff and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. No problems accommodating our young children and ensuring their meals were served early. The menu provided great options and the food was delicious, particularly the bombe Alaska! Will definitely be back.

What a charming country pub! Popped in for lunch and the staff were super friendly! We had a slow cooked chuck steak which was almost more food than we could handle!
