Panacea Estate

I had an amazing time at Panacea Estate. The views of the hills were amazing and in particular the sunset over the lake. It was great to be there during the time of year when the wine was being processed. Peter is very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. Was great to be able to try all the wines there and take some bottles home with me. Can't wait to find time to visit again.

Good people, good wine. Liked the Panacea Shiraz. Enjoyed the trip from Melbourne, took the dog. Great to be able to talk to Pete, the owner. Great view over the lake. Was good to have a go at grape picking as well. Sorry to miss the Harvest Festival, looking forward to visiting again soon. Looking forward to taking some overseas guests later in the year. Really down to earth place.

We come to this beautiful winery to take some wedding photos on our special day. Peter was great to deal with, friendly and nothing was a hassle. It was a bonus that the wines were great as well! My pick was the 2019 Shiraz.

My partner and I took a trip up to see Maldon and checked out Panacea Estate, and we were thoroughly surprised by the vineyard and hospitality. The cellar door has a pleasant hillside view and in warmer weather you could happily sit outside and enjoy more of the scenery as there is a reservoir lake on the border of their property.
Iona gave a detailed wine tasting and also gave us a some background on the wines, history of the vineyard and what the owner has planned for the future. Would happily come back on our next trip through

What a wonderful spot Peter & Iona are just absolute gems. The view, wines and delicious little grazing box were just perfect. Can't wait to spend more afternoons here watching the water ripple on the lake, waltzing through vines. What a life 🙏🥰🌄🥂

A winery that you feel completely at peace! The space, how laid back and comfortable the indoor and outdoor areas are, and the gorgeous views! Peter and his two little girls were lovely hosts and made us and our pup feel welcome and well looked after! He has a great collection of wines (I loved the 2016 Shiraz, but bought a few bottles of three different wines). He does a great cheese platter too! Don’t miss out, head over with your whole family. And I would stay at the B&B just for the views! Highly recommended

We tried a wide variety of Panacea Estate wines at a tasting and loved them all. Particularly the shiraz which I think compares favorably with higher priced bottles.

Pete is a knowledgeable and personable winemaker who took the time to educate me on interesting aspects of the wine making processes and ideal food pairings.

Highly recommend trying Panacea Estate for yourself!

Beautiful winery! We were warmly welcomed, had a great wine tasting and lovely cheese and charcuterie board. Our little doggie was welcomed too and approved of the views and relaxing time! (Lots of bottles came with us ;-))

Such a beautiful winery! Really had a great experience..The wine tasting was amazing; food was delicious and great service! Will definitely come back.

On April 1, we went to the Harvest festival at Panacea and we had an absolutely amazing time.

We started with a bottle of the sparkling wine, which was delicious. Very refreshing on a warm day in the sun.

We were then shown through the vineyard, where we learned a little about the grapes, harvesting and pruning. It was all very interesting.

Following that, we headed back up to the cellar door where we were soon stomping the grapes, which was great fun.

We ordered more wine (HIGHLY recommend the shiraz as it’s amazing) and the wonderful entertainment soon started. And what great entertainment it was!

We enjoyed the delightful platter and the wines (and took some home of course).

In the late afternoon there was quite a crowd, and everyone was having a fabulous time.

Thank you to everyone at Panacea. It was an awesome day and we look forward to our next visit.

For anyone out this way, do yourselves a favour and head to Panacea. You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Panacea Estate during harvest time. Beautiful location with a gorgeous rustic cellar room that overlooks the vines and the lake beyond. Great hospitality and highly recommend ordering a cheese platter to go with their wine. I really loved the Shiraz and Rosé, the latter being perfect for the hot weather we had when we visited. Bonus points for the fact that Panacea is dog friendly! 5🌟

Loved this place! You look over the lake as you sip great Aussie wine. Love the down to earth feeling. Peter is a great host. Oh, and you can bring your dog. So pleased to find a dog friendly winery where our pooch can roam around and have fun whist we enjoy a great wine tasting.

Visited Panacea Estate recently and had a beautiful time with friends over lunch. We did the complete wine tasting and their sparkling white was my absolute favourite. Lunch was heavenly and we loved chatting with the staff as well. Great place to head off for a day out from Melbourne. Highly recommend!

Had a group of 30 odd come through with very late notice on NYE and the team at Panacea were more than hospitable. Great wine and a pretty vista. Add to the list if you’re looking for a relaxed, super down to earth, approachable and comfortable environment to drink and chat about cool wine related stuff.

Awesome spot for a day out! Great wine, great staff, all right in the middle of a beautiful vineyard. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Visited Panacea Estate recently with friends and had a wonderful time. We were greeted with a wonderful Charcuterie platter along with their various wines to taste. Amazing view and delicious lunch served by friendly staff. The best part it is dog friendly too. Definitely looking forward to another trip there soon.

We had a great time visiting Panacea Estate in March, tasting the wines, learning about the winemaking process, wandering through the vines and chatting with the owner and other guests. Peter is very friendly and there is a very laid back vibe about the estate. I'm looking forward to visiting again and definitely recommend it for a day out. Try the Shiraz :-)
