Leconfield Jackaroo & Jillaroo School

This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it. Worked hard, got dirty and loved every minute. Tim knows what he's doing with horses and his team are a great mob. I'm a beginner but my friend who came with me is an experienced rider and we both learned heaps.
Camp fire every night was bliss under a sky full of stars.
Sleeping quarters were warm and communal which suited us perfectly.
Catering was basic and adequate (as expected). I don't eat meat but felt well catered for (I did pack a few of my favourite vegan snacks and plant based milk and margarine to take with me which is a good idea if you're on a restricted diet).
I'm usually a five star holiday type of girl but this was better because I was forced to get offline and didn't have time to think about my business or any of the worries of the world. Just remember you're going to a farm, not a 5 star holiday resort, so be prepared to get amongst it and you'll have a great experience. Thank you Tim, Courtney and the team.

Two months ago I took part in the five days Jackaroo/Jilaroo school and I had a really great time. The horses were friendly, well trained and suitable for different riding levels (which is really good for me :) The staff was always nice and helpful. The work was fun and I learned a lot the farm life in Australia (mustering, sheering sheep, fencing, pasture improvement...). I met a lot of wonderful people from all around the world, the atmosphere was so good.
The food was always fresh and tasty. I would recommend this Jackaroo school to everyone who wants a real Aussie farm experience.

I also read another comment about that school which sounded pretty bad and I don't think it reffers to this Jackaroo school, because I didn't felt a bad atmosphere at all.

Anyway , I'm truly gonna miss these songs around the campfire !!
