Beautiful free camp located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. A crystal clear creek wraps around the park which features flat grassy camps, drop toilets, plenty of rubbish bins, fire pits and BBQ’s. Truly such a peaceful place to wake up in the morning and just down the road from Kenilworth. Huge thanks to the local council for supplying this facility.

Small but delightful place to free camp (no booking needed) on the Mary River. Lots of native vegetation and wildlife (we saw bush turkeys, kingfishers, carpet pythons,Black Bean trees and Queensland Lacebarks). Toilets available (walk under the bridge if you're camped on the other side like we were). Great place to relax for an evening and there is a Fig Tree Walk across the bridge too!

Great free (1 night) camp spot. Beautiful peaceful nature surrounds. A few steps to get to the short & easy Figtree walk. Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio

Very nice and quiet place to spend the night. Has toilets and water, I think it is non-drinking water.
Too bad that BBQs were not working.

Awesome dog friendly free campsite along the river, Max 1 night stay! Log drop toilets with a nice big park along side the campsites.

Nice site. I was only there by accident as I couldn't enter Charlie Morgan's camp site due to the road flooding. This is the best alternative night camp. Toilets available. Might get a bit muddy if it rains. Plenty of space to move around. BBQ plates and toilets are also available. About 15-20 min drive to Kenilworth township. Loved the creek. No phone signals. The closest to get some signal is in Kenilworth town. Enjoy..

Awesome spot for a free camp. Loads of space either side of the road when we were there. Total mixture of campers, even some younger folk having a party but nicely organised site so that their noise didn’t affect anyone else. Drop toilets without water, so bring your own. Lovely short walk to do in the morning before you leave. Will be back if in this area again!

Perfect spot for a free night. Beautiful scenery, clean (compost) toilet and you can make a campfire. If the weather allows it you can swim in the creek, if it's to cold you can use it to cool your beers.
Enjoy the peace and calmness

Quite a long way to get there but worth it. Make sure you bring everything you need such as food, water, and etc because there is no shop around. Public toilet is available there also space for car park and camping area. Great place for family picnic. Only about 200 metres away there is a reserve walking track, well maintained 1.2 kilometres board walk.

Cute campsite, not too busy during the week. Lovely creek for a swim. Big beautiful trees. Only downfall are the mozzies so bring repellant or a mozzie net for sleeping! :)

Beautiful spot, a fair bit of room. But still would get in early, fills up at night. Rooster is still there to wake everyone up. Flat grassy area,

Note: there is no phone reception.

Great place for a swim, to relax, read a book, walk the track's. Spot wildlife like lizards, turtles, fish, eals and the water is so clean and clear. There's toilets and camping as well.
