Rockhampton Boarding Kennels and Cattery

When Tommy is not in the process of learning how to drive or being pampered at home, he thoroughly enjoys spending time with the new owners and staff members at Rockhampton Boarding Kennels & Cattery. In fact, he has taken a particular liking to Sam, Bella, Emma, and Tyson, who work tirelessly to ensure that all animals under their care are treated like family. So much so, that when it comes time for me to leave for work, he no longer looks back or pulls on the lead, but rather launches out of the car without hesitation.
I had the pleasure of being shown around the facilities after the easter rush and was amazed at the cleanliness and organisation of the kennels and cattery. Once again i would like to express my gratitude to all the staff for such a wonderful job that they do to make out boy feel at home.

My puppies always rock up happy and are also happy puppies when I collect them.
Pieter and the team take good care of them in a fresh air, country home.
They look after them like they are their own and the personal touch is why I feel so comfortable.

Booked our cat in for a night and was highly impressed by the service. Pieter was warm, friendly and very attentive to our furry one's needs.

Absolutely beautiful place with beautiful people who obviously looked after my dogs well, as this is the first time one of them hasn't lost weight while being in a kennel, as she usually frets quite a lot (we do it rarely and only when we have no other option). They even went to special effort to socialise my pup for us with other young dogs. Was very very happy.

I am always confident that my dogs are very well looked after and happy when I leave them. Peter and his team are fantastic and so caring and loving towards then.

Peter and his assistant were very professional and great with my cats. I will take them back anytime I have to go away. My cats were there for many weeks when I was in hospital last year and they were cared for very well.

Our big sized dog is always happy to stay here, and comes home smelling fresh and looking good.

Our dogs and cats have stayed here and been looked after fantastically. The animals love this place and so do we.

My Max loves visiting the kennels and is always super excited when I drop him off which put my mind at ease knowing he likes it. Has been going for over 2 years now and it is like a 2nd home!

I relocated to Melb for health reasons recently and was unable to fly my 2 cats with me due to Covid restrictions and airline policies.
I knew as soon as I met this beautiful couple my furkids would be well cared for without me. My regular phone calls have always been answered or returned promptly and Pieter is most helpful and patient with my enquiries even organising transport to Rockhamton airport on the day of their departure.
I would absolutely recommended this caring facility if you need piece of mind when you cannot have your beloved pets with you

Pieter is excellent, my dogs are always happy and look well looked after when I pick them up.

Even helps with abandon animals and finds a home for them.

We've been repeat users of these kennels. Peter and Hailey are like dog whispers. Our kelpie loves them and just goes to either of them as soon as we pull up at the kennels.

TJ was great, gave lots of good advice. Knows his stuff and cares for his animals. Decent pricing also.

They have great knowledge of dogs. My dog is well cared for when we leave her here.
