We called up for a late minute booking and the service was fantastic. Great location between places. Showers and toilets were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Great view looking at Mt Roland! Also super clean and quiet! Great place to camp if you are going to Cradle mountain, super cheap too. Will be back next time !!! Also lots of wallaby/pademelons and birds around!

The camping park is situated in an amazing spot with a breathtaking view of Mt Roland nearby. We set up camp here and it turned out to be a really lovely spot. The natural surroundings and the abundance of pademelons made for a delightful evening. The amenities provided are top-notch, including separate private bathrooms and showers. The camp kitchen is a real gem: equipped with everything you need to cook up your favorite dishes. If you're in search of a camping destination, I highly recommend this place. It offers a fantastic combination of stunning location, excellent facilities, and a memorable camping experience.

Great caravan park close to Cradle Mountain with amazing views of the neighbouring Mt Roland! The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a night’s stay. Staff were helpful and a delight to check in with. Thank you for a lovely place to stay

Wonderful friendly staff.
Nice to have a reception that is open until 7pm out of season. Meant we didn't have to rush our day to get our pitch and it opened again at 8am.
Well stocked with food, drinks and even games.
Beautiful views around the campsite.
Hot powerful showers at $1 per 5 mins, which were most welcome after two nights of being self contained.
Powered site with drainage hole for camper. Waste disposal down the hill.
Water is untreated rain water, and showers have a brownish hue from the creek, but perfectly safe. I have sensitive skin and had no reactions!

If you want to be with nature, then come here. Peaceful and all you can hear mostly are the birds chirping.

Absolutely pleased with our stay here. We arrived late as we had to drive from Devonport directly off the ferry but the site manager was very helpful and friendly and welcoming considering our time of arrival.

Great amenities such a hot showers and a nice 'play room' with a pool table, table tennis and a warm fire.

Such a great find on our way from west to east. Highly recommend the facilities, owners and the area was perfect - nestled in the mountains yet close to nearby areas of interest. Don’t miss this great spot in Gowrie Park!

We stayed on a powered site for 7 days as base campsite to be able to explore surrounding, eg. Cradle mountain. Small park but all the facilities are in good condition. It’s a convenient location , central to Cradle Mountain and Walls of Jerusalem NPs, and the local towns including Sheffield, Mole Creek and Deloraine. Staff were friendly. Only downside is that they run off tank water which has to be boiled. Bargain price, actually it was cheapest place where we stayed during our Tassie trip.

Fantastic place. Set right next to Mount Roland - the sun hits it in the evening and is stunning. We had a powered sight but used the facilities which were all clean and had everything you would need. Owner is lovely and really friendly.

Booked a powered site for one night. Amenities were very clean and the shower had hot water ($1 for 5 minutes) with great water pressure. Just a note that my phone had no reception here so keep that in mind if having contact with the outside world is a must for you (my partner is with a different provider and his worked).

We stayed in a cabin at Gowrie Park just before Christmas and we loved it very much.

It's quite close to Cradle Mountain National Park, being only about 45 minutes drive from the visitor centre. Mt Roland is at its doorstep if you want to stay away from the crowds over at Cradle.

The room is so well cleaned and tidy you can tell the owner puts a lot of effort. The room had all the kitchen facilities we needed to make a simple meal after a long hike.

Plenty of wildlife around the campground to keep us company.

The owners are friendly and helpful with tips on travel.

Will definitely recommend this place and will come back again next time.

My friend and I had an unexpected stay here after our car broke down on the way to Cradle Mountain. Guy helped us get to this accomodation and then Ash was super lovely and welcoming to us in a very stressful time. Simple and comfortable - thanks guys

Great campsite for daytrips to Cradle Mountain. We booked for two nights and extended our stay for two more nights. Fair prices for campspots and drinks / little snacks at reception. Lovely people managing this spot! Very good and clean bathrooms. Clean kitchen and laundry room as well!

A warm and friendly manageress meets you at check in with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Lovely backdrop with surrounding mountains adding to the vistas. I spent a night in the back packer accommodation, complete with a clean well equipped kitchen area ,and a communal fridge and microwave for those choosing to stay a few days . Hot clean showers and a cosy games room with a large open fire beckon the weary traveler after a long day exploring local mountain walks available. This place is a diamond in the rough and a must stay when passing through.

I give gowrie park five stars even though it is a small caravan park and backpackers. We stayed in the backpacker room. Great beds, great doona, clean and warm. Good central area to get together and have a chat. Toilets and shower are new and clean.
