As a wedding photographer I go to lots of venues, Royston House stands above others for it's amazing photo opportunities. With the setting sun in the background it really is a photographers dream. Drew and his team are super professional and make it a fun place to be. Highly recommended

My partner and I had our wedding in October this year and we cannot recommend this venue enough. We originally had our wedding planned abroad and like many couples this year had to reschedule. Arriving to Royston House to view the venue we were greeted with amazing scenery and the property manager Drew who instantly sealed the deal for us, he was just amazing, friendly and so down to earth.
Royston House coordinated with all of our vendors on the day to ensure everything was set up correctly who all had amazing feedback on the venue. The weather caused some havoc on the day :) but Royston House had a plan B and created the most amazing day for us. We cannot thank you enough for all of the hard work you put in creating such a memorable day, you truly made it unforgettable...........THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely top class.

My wife and I had our wedding at Royston and we could not have asked for a better venue. The setting is spectacular with stunning views of Mount Barney. The house is beautiful, big yet homely, the wrap around deck is perfect for guests. Most impressive is the hospitality. Drew is so easy to deal with and will bend over backwards to accommodate any request. Some highlights were; we had planned to have our ceremony on the lawn beside the house but because of rain we moved down to the stables with minimal disruption to the day (stable was actually a stunning ceremony location as well and we preferred it in the end); toilets got blocked up in the house and Drew was up at 6 the next morning chasing a plumber on a Sunday after being up until 3 ferrying guests to nearby accommodation, toilets were fixed by 10; Drews brother Bruce collected pizzas for us in Beaudesert the evening after the wedding.

Could not recommend highly enough. Our wedding was perfect and in no small part thanks to Drew, Bruce and Royston House. Thanks guys!

I attended Royston House with a group of friends for a family getaway. It was BEAUTIFUL! Just what we needed, from the exciting walks we took down the long scenic driveway to the views of beautiful horses roaming the paddocks. The quaint country gardens and picturesque postcard verandah sunsets it was a weekend made of great memories. The host was available by phone for anything we needed and the house was immaculate. Ample room for everyone to have their own space if needed and rooms for intimate gatherings around the fire place and fire pit. Do what we did and make pizzas on the wood fire oven! Amazing!!! Will definitely be going back again! Thank you Royston House and Drew for your hospitality!

We celebrated our wedding on the 31st October 2019 at Royston House. I can not recommend this property enough. Everything about our wedding was spectacular, from the scenic views, to the amazingly beautiful homestead, the management team were approachable in every aspect and we thought our day was just PERFECT!

We can’t recommend Drew, Bruce and the entire Royston House team enough. We had our wedding right in the middle of COVID-19 where everything was changing on the fly, nothing was ever too much trouble for Drew throughout the whole process. We had multiple vendors over the 2 nights, DJ, guitarist, KombiKeg, Pizza etc and they all commented on how easy Drew is to work with.

On the first night at our meet & greet, our Pizza van ran out of pizzas, so Drew & Bruce drove into town and picked up 20 pizzas. We hired out a Airbnb close by for the grooms party, on the first night it ran out of water. So Drew drove over and spent an hour sorting the problem and contacting the owners(Drew had no association with the property). These are just two examples of what Drew & and his team do if you go with Royston.

The venue itself, do yourself a favour and book a viewing with Drew late one afternoon. I promise you that you won’t look any further, well we didn’t anyway. The view is simply amazing and the homestead is jaw dropping. The package which includes accommodation, the venue, furniture and the Royston Team is worth every cent and more!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we can’t thank Drew, Bruce and the team enough.

We’ll be back to hire out the homestead next winter for sure.

Based on the Scenic Rim, the large Queenslander style home with a full wrap around veranda makes for a perfect setting to say your I do’s.

Our son got married last weekend. You dream of the wedding being just the perfect day. Because of the setting and and the hosts, Trish and Drew extremely hard work, that dream came true.
From the early a.m. to very late p.m. we received such caring assistance that gave us the freedom to fully enjoy every moment. As with most wedding events, there are always last minute changes and checks and as the day moved on these alterations were met with the attitude of "No Problem" "Only solutions".
That alone is very good reason to be happy with our choice of venue but on top of that, the view, the stars, the moon and sun all played a part along with the horses and Roos. Sitting on verandah watching the horses play in the afternoon with the beauty of the scenic rim surrounding us made our hearts lift. Even now as we think back on it.
It was truly an unforgettable event that will stay in our memories forever.

I’ve stayed at Royston several times; the panoramic views, the staff hospitality and local knowledge, unforgettable sunsets and let’s not understate the peaceful rejuvenation of the massage chair in the library (I’m a scientist, please note libraries are not a common feature of short stay accommodation!). There is something for everyone at Royston - if it didn’t book out so fast I would go there 5 times a year ❤

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Drew and the team at Royston for all their efforts. So glad we found this AMAZING venue for my daughter's special day, and they were so accommodating to all our whims. Thanks again guys, now the real fun starts with the plannign!
