Firstly, it’s such a great location next to the water with the yachts and the decor is much improved from last year. They now specialise in premium fish n chips and snapper is standard, even on kids meals. We had the grilled fish and traditional fish n chips. The grilled was cooked perfectly with a crispy, tasty skin and soft moist flesh, something you never get with supermarket sourced fish. The fish n chips was tasty and a cut above the usual greasy corner fish n chip shop. The coffees were great, and I’m fussy with coffee, and our waitress was fantastic - very friendly, positive, and professional, and attended to us frequently.
It’s simple food done well, in a lovely location.

Super friendly and welcoming waitress. You know who you are. Loved my bacon and egg burger with hash brown, and a small cappuccino. Great value for money for $12. The only (minor) annoyance was a bird wanting some of my food. Great vibe, music and ambience. Thank you so much. You guys helped make my wonderful 4 day weekend on the Gold Coast recently very blissful. x

If you want a nice cuppa or feed by the water, this spot delivers! Service is quick, great food options and coffee, and on the water. There's actually a car park behind it so you don't have to park at the very front of Sanctuary Cove carpark, but space is limited for rear car park.

Honestly THE BEST share platter we have ever had!! The menue describes it perfectly. The cocktails are amazing and the service awas amazing. The girls behind the bar are awesome. So glad we found you and will tell our friends 🖤

Shared the arancini balls and seafood board and it was amazing! Delicious and fresh food and fast and friendly service.

Delicious food, great variety, breakfast ,lunch and dinner. Friday night tapas is a must. Kelly and her Staff are amazing and make you feel welcome each and every time. Hands down best coffee in the village.

I had a fabulous lunch with a large group of friends on Friday. Foods was so yummy, staff where so accommodating and the place is so clean with a modern decor. Will definitely be eating there again soon.

Had a great night last night at Anchor Buoy catching up with friends. The food was really good and we loved the idea of small plates and sharing so we could enjoy different items on the menu. Will definitely be back !

fabulous service - waitress Sophie was training a new worker and she showed such patience, grace and amazing manner towards the new worker. It was a busy Sunday morning but nothing flustered Sophie in the slightest - this employee is amazing. Food wonderful and came out fast, drinks and coffee great, first time here and we plan to make it our local. Very impressive !!!

Had delicious grilled Snapper and Salad.

My wife and I found this place delicious for our lunch today.

We shared some mozzarella sticks to start which were perfectly cooked and accompanied with a tomato salsa which were very tasty.

We the had a chicken karaage burger and a pulled pork burger. Both were extremely tasty and served with some amazing chips.

The staff are attentive and offer a great service. A cake for dessert is a must.

Served by Violet who was absolutely amazing when 1 of our party was not vaccinated, showed us where we could sit to have takeaway, the whole situation handled terrifically. I'm back a week later for more great coffee and cake. Highly recommended

We had 3 of the Tapas to share. The food was fantastic and the service by the staff was friendly and prompt . Great spot with a great view. We were also given complementary coffee and juice vouchers. Price was excellent. We walked around the local precinct and clearly saw the food choices and prices at the Anchor Buoy cafe were well above the other options. Will definitely be going back here for good food great price and a friendly welcoming staff. 5*

Four of us had lunch here today. It wasn't planned or booked but we had a great table outside with view and lovely breezes. The food was very good and service excellent.
Will definitely be returning and recommending.

We recently held a 50th Birthday celebration at Anchor Buoy Cafe & Bar and were so impressed with the service, food and attention to detail. The Manager Kelly went above and beyond for us. Also the serving size of meals was huge and the quality & presentation 10/10. Also enjoyed the musician Tyson Faulkner who plays Friday nights. Highly recommend the Anchor Buoy. Will definitely be back!

We had our wedding reception at Anchor Buoy in June this year and couldn’t be happier we chose this venue.
Kelly and her team were warm and welcoming, professional and very helpful making it an easy process.
It was the perfect location for a beautiful and intimate reception.
We have eaten at Anchor Buoy many times before and the food has always been fantastic. The food is of exceptional quality and attention to detail is shown in the beautifully presented dishes. Complements to Kelly and her team.

Service is great and food is so delicious. Defiantly the best açai bowl I have ever had! Wish this place was my local. My partner can’t get over how good the milkshakes are. 10/10 from us :)

Amazing coffee!!! The customer service was amazing by Kelly, they use Milk Lab almond milk that's a winner for me. My husband had thai beef salad and said it was too die for.. we will be back... great setting over the water...
